Chapter 116

Chapter 116

116 [Bonus Chapter] Chapter 116: Strength of the team leader!

Alex let Mr white drive them to sector H and realizing where they were sent to, Alex couldn’t help but frown. His memories reminded him of this place! This is the place where he felt the dangerous aura.

This can be considered an abandoned part of the city filled with old buildings which are covered in moss. Strangely the vegetation growing around the city looked green and well taken care of. They grew within buildings and out, giving the city a good and interesting look.

“This plants are not as simple as they look.... If we are going to secure this location then we will need to clear it all too... this will be difficult” Mr white said with a stern look on his face stunning Alex. He didn’t expect the third year student to be able to identify the main problem with just a glance.

<> Alex muttered in his mind as he gazed at Mr whites IP watch and saw the C rating there and nodded.

Truly the difference between the C ratings and the B rating is high. Even someone like so with intense Sensory skills far beyond his level is still in the C ratings.

“Drive around the area, Let’s look for a suitable place to camp...” Alex said calmly and White nodded. As they drove around for close to half an hour, they were yet to see a mutant beast meanwhile the threat of danger still lingered around. It was either the beasts waiting for the perfect time to ambush them or for they were hiding from something else.

“Here!” Alex finally said pointing towards an old bank filled with green moss.

They stopped and came down with their things in their hands, gazing at the building but none dared to make a move.

“Blaze, burn any form of vegetation on this building... If you fail we will most likely die without knowing in our sleep” Alex gave precise orders before marching into the building.

.....

“I will stay back and make sure he doesn’t miss anything” Mr white offered and Alex agreed.

They took their bags and walked into the building like they owned the place. Immediately, Alex saw what looked like a cat on the first floor. Its body was tangled up in vines and it looked slightly emaciated.

Any normal person would think the cat was dying due to starvation but Alex could tell something different was going on.

The vines were feeding off it!

Swoosh!

Without hesitation, Alex stomped the grounds and charged forward while equipping his twin demon daggers! His eyes revealed a cold look as the vines shivered upon noticing his presence shooting forwards!

Seeing this Melissa and Jun were stunned by two things! The first was Alex’s fitness could be considered terrifying even amongst deviants at the C ratings and then the vines moving to attack shocked them! They never expected it.

When Alex and Mr white kept talking about these plants killing them in their sleep, everyone thought they were joking so seeing the vines attack left them stunned!

Bam!

Alex’s leg hit the ground as his body shot into the air, spinning viciously! Infusing his aura with his blade strikes, Alex released black and white colored projectiles, splitting the vines into various pieces of different shapes and sizes!

His body reappeared behind the vibe with the dying cat in his hands. Gazing at the body of the cat he could see minor holes through which the vines may have been harming it. He felt infuriated and almost didn’t notice more vines heading towards him from all sides.

This time he wasn’t the only target of the attack.

Melissa and Jun were attacked as well. Jun simply let go of the bag and for an instant, it felt like time paused, he unsheathed his sword and sheathed it again, catching the bags before they reach the ground!

Slash!

Slash!

Slash!

The vines racing towards were being cut so perfectly, that they were reduced to the size of threads. Melissa was busy admiring his skills with a shocked look on her face but then a loud explosion erupted!

Boom!

The vines were blown away by the sheer power of the black and white aura. Alex’s body flashed and he reappeared beside Melissa handing over the cat to her.

“I know this has nothing to do with the mission and you have a choice to reject but please, heal its wounds” Alex said with a slight bow, ignoring the horde of vines racing towards them from one of the doors ahead.

Melissa hastily took the cat with a horrified look on her face. Even Kung Jun held his blade preparing to strike but then Alex turned and walked past them moving towards the vines casually.

Bam!

Blaze and Mr white just ran into the building. They were done with their job so when they heard the sounds of battle they came to check things out.

They saw the numerous vines but they didn’t make a move. Just like the rest, they were eager to see how strong Alex is. They wanted to see the power of the man who fought Cherry twice and survived to tell the tale!

“Do you think I am something so weak you can feed on as you wish? Such insolence! KILL!” Alex growled as he punched forward, merging his aura with it!

A powerful black and white colored fist flew forward destroying everything in its path!

Boom!

The fist tore threw the vines and raced into the room, after which a massive explosion erupted, spreading his aura everywhere!

From the entrance of the bank, they could see a hole leading out of the streets in the other room!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Suddenly a portion of the bank began collapsing, covering up the hole with rubbles leaving everyone stunned!

Didn’t he just say kill?

Doesn’t that mean this power is from the first stage of the demon kin secret technique?

How powerful will his attacks be when he accumulates power from the second form of the demon-kin technique?

Is this the strength of their team leader!
