Aescul thought Maximilian was simply boasting and he definitely didn’t have enough money. Deep in his mind, he already fancied the scene when Maximilian called him grandpa.

He became excited when thinking of what would happen.

Bertie hesitated for a while and winked at his subordinate, hinting him to grab out the POS machine.

Everyone speculated Maximilian was putting off time as long as he could and no one could see the point of his behaviour.

Maximilian took out the card and swiped it naturally. All people’s attention was drawn by his action and wondered what would happen.

Most people thought he would be lack of money.

However, the successfully paid sound really astonished everybody present. They all looked at Maximilian in shock.

If they didn’t see it in person, they couldn’t believe what happened was true. They turned to look at Maximilian in astonishment and wondered why he was so rich.

Aescul was also shocked and used an incredible sense to glance at Maximilian. What was going on? Why he was so rich?

He began to doubt his life, thinking the reality was far different from his imagination.

The middle-aged man and woman were also shocked. Past despise was now replaced by admiration.

The middle-aged woman immediately thought highly of Maximilian. Now she finally knew Maximilian was her true gold digger. She hurriedly said to him in respect, “Well, you’re really a modest man. Awesome. My future son-in-law.”

Maximilian didn’t know how to respond her and felt speechless at her behaviour. The middle-aged woman just treated him as if he was nobody, however, now seeing he was equipped with a great deal of money, she completely changed her attitude.

Maximilian didn’t say anything but thought she was ridiculous.

Jude covered her mouth and was surprised at Maximilian’s action. She never expected that Maximilian was so wealthy that he could easily get ten million yuan.

Bertie showed a smile to Maximilian when seeing the transferred money. It seemed that Maximilian was not only good at fighting but also rich in money. Maybe he was a young master of a well-known family and it would do him good to please him.

However, he only guessed one thing right. Although Maximilian was not the young master in a well- known family, he was the young lord of the dragon sect.

Aescul immediately showed a terrible expression. He fancied the scene when Maximilian called him grandpa just now, however, what happened now really broke his dream.

He wished to dig a hole to get in. He hurriedly tried to sneak away. It would be so awkward if Maximilian caught his weakness.

Maximilian noticed Aescul was trying to escape and teased, “Aescul, what are you doing?”

Bertie took Aescul to Maximilian’s side in order to please him and looked at Aescul coldly.

Aescul swallowed a mouthful of saliva and found it was impossible for him to leave this place. He snickered nervously, “Well, I want to go to the bathroom.”

Maximilian replied calmly, “You can do it here.”

He could tell from Aescul’s behaviour that he was afraid of lose the game and tried to find an excuse to escape.

Jude and her family all showed a disdainful expression at Aescul. Today, Aescul’s action completely reflected his own defects, irresponsible, selfish and dishonest.

Even the mammonish middle-aged woman felt embarrassed for him. After noticing others’ gaze, Aescul was incredibly awkward.

Bertie said coldly, “You have to pay the price if you lose.”

Aescul hurriedly waved his hands and said, “Definitely I will. Don’t worry.”

Bertie was despised of Aescul because he knew what kind of person he was. They had to take violent action to deal with people like him.

Bertie looked at Maximilian subconsciously, seeming to wait for him to nod. Maximilian glanced at him and Bertie knew it was time to display himself.

Bertie hurriedly grabbed Aescul and said, “It’s really a bad idea for you to sneak out.”

“Mr. Lee, don’t be too mean on such a trivial thing.” Aescul rubbed his hands and wanted to end up this thing.

“If I am the loser, what will you do? I believe you will say the worst words to me. Will you let me go?” Maximilian smiled when hearing this.

He didn’t understand why Aescul was so shameless that he dared give this suggestion. He was speechless and didn’t want to reply him.

Facing Maximilian’s direct question, it took Aescul a long time to react. Indeed, he would say more terrible things if Maximilian lost the game.

“Mr. Lee, I am sorry. I shouldn’t bet with you.” Aescul hurriedly expressed his regret.

At first, Maximilian thought Aescul would be a tough man, however, he quickly begged for his mercy, making Maximilian hard to say anything else.

He didn’t want Aescul attitude to realize his fault, but his action of fulfilling the promise.

Bertie became impatient and slapped on his face, saying angrily, “Hurry up and call Mr. Lee grandpa.”

Aescul knew he couldn’t escape. After realizing Maximilian’s ability, he trembled subconsciously. If Maximilian really fought with him, he would be either badly injured or dead.

It made it even harder for him to fulfil his promise because Bertie was also standing by Maximilian’s side.

Aescul finally gave up dignity and called Maximilian grandpa three times. People were all disdainful at his weak action and all burst out laughing.

Aescul showed a terrible expression and wished to dig a hole to get in. He was so regretted and wanted to sneak away at first without betting with Maximilian.

He thought things went terrible because the bet, if not, everything would be fine. However, there was no such a thing called regret medicine in the world.
