Aescul could only accept the reality. He couldn’t compete with Maximilian on such a thing. If he didn’t beg for mercy now, he wouldn’t have any other chances.

“Mr. Lee, can I leave now?” Aescul was good at concealing his emotion and forced a smile.

Maximilian noticed his angry expression just now. He didn’t get afraid because he already speculated that Aescul would come for revenge.

In order to get acquainted with Maximilian, Bertie took a name card and handed it to him. When seeing the brief introduction on the card, Maximilian felt a little surprised.

Bertie said with a smile, “Mr. Lee, I am sorry about what happened just now. Please forgive me and give me a chance to invite you for dinner.”

Maximilian sneered, “Is that feast set up as a trap?”

Bertie trembled when hearing this and was astonished at Maximilian’s doubt. He hurriedly waved his hands and said, “Mr. Lee, what are you talking about? It is definitely not! How dare I do that?”

Even if it was a trap, it was impossible for him to fight with Maximilian. He knew it clearly that Maximilian was a man with great strength and he didn’t want to quarrel with him anymore.

He wanted to be Maximilian’s friend instead because he could tell he was a big figure and it would be a good chance for him. He got excited even by imagining what benefit Maximilian would bring.

Maximilian also knew what Bertie meant by providing him the name card. He didn’t refuse him and took the card away.

“Fine.” Maximilian nodded.

Bertie felt joyful when seeing Maximilian was willing to be his partner. It was an extraordinary thing for him.

“Thank you for giving me this chance.” Bertie hurriedly said.

After chatting with Maximilian for a while, Bertie finally left with his subordinates. However, he was really humble and polit when he left, completely different from the time when he came.

The middle-aged man and woman was getting more and more fond of Maximilian after he managed to provide ten million dollars.

The middle-aged woman flattered, “He’s such a perfect man, rich and handsome, and way better than Aescul, who simply knows to boast around.”

Aescul almost fell on the floor when hearing her words. It was completely different from his imagination.

His family background was better than Maximilian. How could they compare him with Maximilian? He was getting more and more jealous at Maximilian.

The middle-aged man was wondering where did Maximilian work. He must be a young master of a rich family or an enterpriser by being able to pay such a great deal of money.

Maximilian also noticed the middle-aged man was interested in his job. He smiled and didn’t point it out.

Seeing Maximilian didn’t reply, the middle-aged man didn’t ask further.

Suddenly, the atmosphere became awkward. Although the worst situation past, there was another more important thing to handle.

Jude’s brother was really embarrassed when seeing his family’s disappointed look. He finally knew what a great mistake he had made.

The middle-aged man looked at his son and said, “You’re no longer my son from this day. Let’s go to the court tomorrow to end our relation.”

He knew his son was nothing but a loser. Although this thing came to an end, he would definitely make more mistakes in the future.

He was only fortunate enough today to have Maximilian pay the debt. What about the next time?

The middle-aged man didn’t dare think any further. Nobody was willing to help Jude’s brother and all thought he deserved this.

Jude blushed and said to her brother coldly, “What are you talking about? He’s not your brother-in-law.”

The middle-aged man and woman found their daughter looked a perfect match with Maximilian. It would be brilliant if they could be together.

However, Jude’s brother suddenly threatened Maximilian and said, “I will teach you a lesson if you don’t lend me some money.”

Maximilian didn’t know how to react when seeing Jude’s brother was so childish. Jude’s brother continued saying when gritting his teeth, “I haven’t gamble for a few days and I have to the casino today. Give me at least a hundred yuan.”
