Edge of the Apocalypse

Chapter 1037

Chapter 1037: Sabbath Earth

In the blink of an eye, it was time for the transaction. Cruise pulled Fares' face and patted him on the cheek. However, Fares was still unconscious. Fanny sat beside Regis, her fingernails contorting, occasionally stretching out her fingers, displaying her long nails that were dyed crimson like claws.

The remaining short man, Steven, started chatting with the trembling snake gang members, and bursts of laughter came from the man's pile from time to time. Jenny frowned. Steven occasionally looked back at her, his gaze always wandering between her chest and thigh, making her want to dig out two of this guy's eyes.

Suddenly, Cruise said in a low voice, "How many people have we arranged outside?"

Jenny was stunned and replied casually, "There must be at least twenty people. What's wrong, boss?"

"No, it's too quiet. Steven, go out and take a look!" Just as Gurus finished speaking, the door of the warehouse suddenly bulged inwards. Thousands of cracks appeared on the wooden door, and countless pieces exploded into countless pieces as they shot into the warehouse. A few of the gang members who were closer to the gate were caught off guard and shot into a sieve, splashing blood as they collapsed. A wind blew in from outside the door, and the air was filled with a fishy smell. Blood flowed down the road into the warehouse, causing Gurus to stare angrily. He shouted, "Who is it?"

No one answered. The lights above the warehouse entrance fell to the ground. A few long shadows appeared in the light. Everyone in the warehouse pulled out their guns and used the cargo boxes as a cover to shoot towards the door!

A series of gunshots rang out in the harbor.

The night was as deep as Alan's mood was at the moment. This was the worst incident since they went north. Rick and a few soldiers were killed. Fares and Regis were killed. Fortunately, Adele escaped from the bar, or the consequences would have been even more severe. Allen wasn't afraid of the strong enemies coming at him, but this vicious method of bypassing him and attacking the people around him made him feel both anger and fear.

This time it was Fares and the others, then who would it be next time? Adele? Or Lucy?

Alan narrowed his eyes. Under the moonlight, there was a layer of blood energy surging in his eyes. His red eyes were like the killing intent he couldn't hide in his heart. He had already decided to start a massacre. Whether the gang was ordered by someone or if there were other reasons for attacking Fares and the others, Alan had decided to wipe them out. Including the mastermind behind them, Mosaior's trip was destined to not be as calm as Sardinia. This trip would definitely start with blood and end with blood. Only enough blood could shock those who were about to move in the shadows. Alan wanted to tell them with slaughter that as long as they dared to reach out with those dirty hands, he would not only cut off those hands, but also cut off their heads!

The killing intent that haunted Allen was so intense that Green Dragon Knight and the other warriors around him felt a depressing atmosphere, keeping them quiet all the way. Under the lead of the sheriff, Alan quickly arrived at Fish Harbor. However, when he arrived at the pier where the Serpent of Trembling was, he saw the corpses of the two men and his heart sank.

The two corpses were lying under a street lamp at the dock, their chests were hollowed out by some unknown object, and their deaths were extremely miserable. The two bloody paths that stretched out from under the corpse merged with a pool of blood not far away. As the team advanced, more corpses appeared in Allen's line of sight. The nest of the trembling snake seemed to have undergone an attack, an extinct one.

This place was terribly quiet. The fear of corpses and blood piled up all over the ground caused the guide to fall to the ground. josei

Alan gestured and everyone, including him, got off their horses. He mentioned the guide and whispered, "Go inform the sheriff and ask him to send someone over. The situation seems to have become even more complicated."

As if relieved, the guide hurriedly pulled up a horse and walked back and forth.

Alan scanned the surroundings of the warehouse and pointed to a water tower not far away. "Adele, go there and look after the warehouse. Make sure no one can escape."

Hearing this, the young girl nodded and hid in the shadows of the dock building with her sniper rifle.

"Follow me."

Holding onto Red King's grip, Alan walked towards the warehouse. Nelly and the other five Green Dragon Knight also woke up twelve minutes later, and Origin Energy condensed and dispersed his alert behind Allen. Finally, it was the Mountain King warriors. These tall warriors held up their shields and made a defensive posture at any moment.

The warehouse was even quieter. Because it was a sealed space, the smell of blood was much denser than the outside world. When they entered, they saw a few fallen gang members whose bodies were covered in fragments of the gate. Compared to the corpses outside, their deaths were considered "normal". Then there was a row of overturned boxes with dried ice and dead fish scattered all over the ground. The dry ice hasn't completely melted, suggesting that the warehouse should have been attacked not long ago.

Behind the chest were the corpses of some gang members. Their deaths were more tragic. Their broken hands and feet were relatively light. Some of their bodies were directly cut off from their waist, and their wounds were bloody and fleshy. It was as if they had been bitten off by a giant beast. After the pile of corpses, under a few dumped boxes, Alan found the murderer who killed Rick. He was so sure that Adele was impressed by the iron hand that pierced through Rick's body that Alan knew who he was when he saw the iron glove on the headless corpse's right hand?

However, this pitiful fellow had one leg pressed down on a few cargo boxes, and his head was a few meters away in an empty space. Something pulled his head and spine out of his body and dragged them for several meters, leaving a clear bloody mark between his head and the corpse.

Alan then discovered another woman. As the only woman in the entire warehouse, her identity could not be clearer. It was the one who had chased after Adele, but the woman was also a corpse now. Her death was slightly better than her companion's, at least her head was still on her neck, even though her face was already bloody and fleshy, it seemed like it was being swept back and forth by sharp objects. The woman's left chest collapsed, one side of her chest disappeared, and there were no traces of her surroundings. Judging from the situation, she should have entered the stomach of some creature.

Finally, Alan stood beside a tall man with a ferocious black snake tattooed on his bare shoulders and chest. He opened his eyes wide as if he saw something unbelievable. A huge hole appeared in the corpse's chest. Its internal organs and bones had completely disappeared. Its upper body and lower body were connected only by the flesh at the edge of the hole. Alan narrowed his eyes. The Thriller Snake gang had become history tonight. Without him taking action, this evil snake that was entrenched in the harbor had already been nest-tied by something.

Fortunately, Ellen couldn't see Regis and Fares among the corpses. As a result, the clues that tracked them down were interrupted from here.

"Sir, look here." Nelly called Ellen over and the knight pointed to the ground. There was some scarlet mud there. The sediment was obviously out of place in the harbor and should have come from somewhere else. Importantly, the sediment continued to the other side of the warehouse, and Alan saw a gap. More mud and sand spread out into the shadows far away from the harbor. Alan called a knight to ask her to track down the mud and sand, but told her to come back in time to report what she found and not to act without permission.

According to Lucy's description, the iron-handed man and the red-armored woman in the Trembling Snake were not weak experts. Even they were killed. Green Dragon Knight would not be a match for the guy who carried the snake nest, no matter if it was a person or anything else. Allen didn't want any knight to lose his life because of his inexplicable opponent. After the knight left, the sound of horse hooves resounded in the warehouse. Allen walked out of the warehouse and saw the sheriff leading a group of people over.

Seeing this scene in the warehouse, the sheriff almost fainted. "I didn't do it," Ellen said, spreading his hands. "Your men can testify. It seems like I'm not the only one who wants to take out the Thriller Snake, but my two captive companions have lost their clue. So, sheriff, I need you to take a good look at the scene and use your expertise to help me find new clues."

"Try … try your best." The sheriff smiled bitterly. Then, he ordered the security forces to disperse the martial law. He called over a few more assistants, put on white gloves, and entered the warehouse with the tools. The tragic scene in the warehouse caused the sheriff's face to turn pale, and one of his assistants immediately ran to the door and retched. The sheriff shook his head and asked his assistant to examine the corpse.

"This is Gurus, the leader of the Trembling Snake. This guy is a Level 23 character. He actually died here as well," he said coldly as he walked over to the black-striped man's corpse.

"Actually, I also found some other interesting things. Come and take a look." Alan took him to the other side of the warehouse and pointed at the scarlet sand on the ground. "Maybe you know what this is."

The sheriff's entire body trembled and he suddenly pounced over, his movements exceeding Alan's expectations. He picked up a pile of mud and sniffed it beside his nose, even sticking a few pills into his mouth. "That's right, this is the Sabbath. Why are they here?" He cried out.

"Sabbath Earth?" Alan frowned, "Sounds like something from a cemetery."

"Almost, but to be exact, this scarlet Sabbath Earth will only come from that place." The sheriff's expression turned rather ugly. "There is a swamp deep in the Screaming Forest behind the Great Cemetery. It is all this land of rest!"

"Screaming Forest, it doesn't sound comfortable. This forest shouldn't be simple, right?"

The sheriff smiled bitterly. "Of course, the swamp lake is where the Queen of Fear lives, and the Howling Forest is its territory. In Mosaiore, that forest was a forbidden area. Between the cemetery and the Screaming Forest, one of the Bear Armored Army's battle regiments was stationed. "Sir, if you want to know more, I suggest you pay a visit to General Arkham. He is the Commander in Chief of the Bear Armor Army!"
