Eternal life begins with saving my clan

Chapter 100 : Arrival of the other clans from the main continent.

In the soft, early morning light, a lone wooden small boat glided silently across the tranquil waters.

The boat itself was a testament to countless journeys and adventures, its weathered wood telling stories of time's passage.

Seated within the boat were ten ordinary-looking men, their faces and attire gently illuminated by the first rays of dawn.

The delicate hues of morning painted the sky with subtle shades of pink and gold, casting a serene and promising glow on the scene.

Amidst the expanse of the open sea, the atmosphere bore the salty tang of adventure and the promise of uncertainty. The ocean stretched out in all directions, glistening under the sun's radiant touch. Seagulls circled overhead, their calls breaking the serenity of the horizon.

"What do you think is happening in the forgotten barren land?" inquired one of the elderly passengers aboard the small boat, his voice carried away by the gentle sea breeze.

A hushed silence enveloped the group, broken by the thoughtful response of another man, "Something is surely going on, but the most important thing is to save the young miss and, if possible, save the young master."

The old man nodded in agreement, lines etched on his face revealing the weight of their mission. "You're right. We've been traveling for the past two days, but we haven't seen any ship or boat. If this continues, we may miss the island where the young miss is hiding."

As the group of ordinary men contemplated their course of action to locate their young miss, the tranquil sea suddenly convulsed with a powerful current, causing their boat to lurch violently, teetering on the brink of breaking in two.

"What the hell?!" cried one of the ordinary men, terror lacing his voice.

Panic swept over everyone aboard as they frantically grasped for anything to anchor themselves. Their wide eyes turned in the direction of the turbulent tide.

In the distance, a colossal pirate ship, menacing and swift, sailed toward them at breakneck speed.

On the bow of the ship stood an imposing, eye-patch-clad pirate captain. His gaze locked onto the ordinary boat, and a conniving smile crept onto the edge of his lips.

"Toward the ordinary boat?" he commanded to his crew.

Without hesitation, the pirate ship altered its course, veering menacingly towards the small vessel.

Inside the ordinary boat, the passengers exchanged subtle glances, a knowing smile dancing on their faces.

Their boat trembled violently from the sea current generated by the pirate ship's approach. However, keen observers might have noticed that despite the powerful current, the small boat maintained its stability.

On the faces of the ordinary men, there was no fear, only an unspoken assurance that they were prepared for whatever might come next.

The pirate ship came to a sudden halt, mere inches from the trembling boat. The pirate captain peered down from the bow, his eyes cold and piercing, his voice deep and hoarse.

"Where are you going?" he demanded. However, before the ordinary men could respond, he continued, his tone laced with a sinister threat. "I don't care where you're headed. Get on this ship if you care about your lives."

The men exchanged nervous glances but remained silent as they slowly clambered onto the pirate ship. The pirate captain observed their obedience with a nod of satisfaction.

"Those Celestial Heavenly Sect soldiers have made it impossible for us to hunt for prey at sea," he mused, a wicked smile playing at the corners of his lips. "But who would have guessed my luck is still holding."

On the deck, the pirate crew eyed the ordinary men like hungry predators, eager to pounce.

The pirate captain scrutinized the captives from head to toe before issuing a casual command, nonchalantly waving his hand. "Make them kneel and take their belongings. After that, throw them into the sea." With his orders delivered, he turned his gaze back to the serene sea, savoring the salty breeze.

A few moments passed before a voice emerged from behind him, an unfamiliar voice that set his heart racing. "Do you know the Crystal Island?"

The pirate captain's eyebrows furrowed. "That's not the voice of my crew..." he thought, growing uneasy. He turned slowly, his heart pounding.

"What the..." He jumped in fright, colliding with the ship's bow. An old man stood directly behind him, his gaze unwavering, sending a shiver down the pirate captain's spine.

After a moment of shock, the pirate captain finally regained his composure. He stared at the calm old man before shifting his gaze toward his crew.

Blood splashed everywhere with various human body parts scattered. On the faces of his crew, he could see the deep fear on their faces. It was like they met their worst nightmare.

His thoughts raced. "I've hit an iron wall," he concluded. He wanted to cry, but there were no tears left.

"Do you know the Crystal Island?" the old man asked once more.

Trembling and drenched in cold sweat, the pirate captain stammered, "Y-Yes... Yes, I know it, and I will take you there."

"Good. I knew you would understand the plight of an old man like me," the old man chuckled, his demeanor suddenly relaxed as he turned to his men.

On the shores of the Crystal Island, a lone woman stood gazing out at the vast expanse of the sea. Her beautiful face was etched with a deep frown as she clutched a small ring in her hand.

"I need to get off this island and tell Father everything," she thought, her heart racing. Her eyes scanned the horizon. "What's taking them so long to come and pick me up?"

As she lost herself in thought, a strong tide hit her face, snapping her back to the present.

She raised her head and saw a ship approaching in the distance. Initially resembling a pirate vessel, she squinted and noticed the Wang clan's flag fluttering from the ship's mast.

A bright smile crossed her face. "I knew it! Father wouldn't delay in rescuing me."

Meanwhile, the ordinary islanders saw the incoming ship, but when they realized it wasn't flying the Huang Clan or Celestial Heavenly Sect flag, they returned to their daily tasks.

Shortly, the ship docked at the shore, and an elderly man disembarked. "Young miss..." he called with a slight bow.

"Uncle!" Wang Baozhai exclaimed, rushing to embrace her long-lost relative, her face beaming with joy.

Before she could fully savor her reunion with her uncle, dozens of massive ships appeared on the horizon, speeding toward the Crystal Island.

"What's happening?" a fisherman cried out in alarm. It was the first time the Crystal Island had witnessed so many ships at once, and the unfamiliar design of the vessels confirmed that they didn't originate from the barren lands.

"Call the Island Chief!" another fisherman shouted as he rushed away from the shore.

Meanwhile, Wang Baozhai and her uncle exchanged uneasy glances.

"How did they manage to follow us without our knowledge?" the old man muttered with a deep frown.

"This is bad! How can we keep everything to ourselves if they're here?" Wang Baozhai thought, her brow furrowed in concern.

After a few minutes, all the ships came to rest on the shoreline. From the leading vessel, a door opened, and a beautiful woman dressed in fiery red robes stepped out, her posture exuding pride and confidence. She spoke with a teasing smile.

"Baozhai, what are you trying to hide from us?" Cheng Hong asked, and behind her stood Liu Fu.
