It was six o’clock.
Saul showed up downstairs at Elaina’s place on time.
He was wearing a dark grey suit today. He was always flashy usually, yet today, he looked much more low–key.
When Elaina saw him, she couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows. “I didn’t know you took today’s banquet so seriously.”
Saul didn’t say anything. He stared at Elaina all the time until she walked next to him.
Standing in front of him, Elaina was wearing a plain long dress. The well–cut long dress showed her curves perfectly. She was not as vulgar as others. Instead, she looked so distant and aloof, making him want to get close to her uncontrollably.
“Hey! Wake up,” Elaina said, waving her hand in front of his eyes.
“Sorry. You’re so stunning today.” Though Saul wasn’t attracted to Elaina, he was still amazed.
Elaina covered her mouth and giggled. She complimented, “You look good today, too.”
Saul reached out to open the car door for her and made a gesture of invitation. “Get in the car, my lady. I’ll be your chauffeur today.”
Inside the car, Elaina said apologetically, “I didn’t wear the dress you prepared today. You won’t be mad at me, will you?”
She didn’t wear it, since she felt that the dress Saul picked didn’t suit her.
Saul, who was driving, smiled indifferently. He said, “You are right not to wear it. I have bad taste anyway. That tacky dress will only lower your standard.
“The long dress you are wearing fits you better. Which high–end brand is it from? I’ll be their fan from now on.”
Elaina smiled and thought, you can forget about that. Then she said, “I made it myself.”
Saul was shocked. “You made it?”
“Yes. I made it when I was idle.” During the two years of her marriage to Jalen, she was so idle and bored, so she began to learn to make clothes. To her surprise, she actually had a bit of talent.
Saul lamented, but he also felt that it made sense.
“Can you make a piece for me sometimes?” he asked with a smile.
Elaina shook her head and said, “I know nothing about men’s clothing. I’m afraid I can’t promise you that.”

“Let me think about it.” Elaina did not give him a definite answer. She had plans regarding making clothes. She figured that maybe it could be a business for her.
