Elaina raised an eyebrow without saying anything. She waited for Saul to continue.
“The Lory family has connections in New York. Theodore alone cannot deal with them,” he said.
“So?” she smiled as if she had already known what Saul wanted to say.
Saul didn’t mind. He said bluntly, “I can help.”
Elaina chuckled. Her gaze fell on Saul for a moment, and then she moved her eyes away. “Help me? Isn’t it the fact that you’ve been coveting the Lory Group and wanting to pocket the Lory family’s property so as to build up your strength?”
She thought, if one makes more money, others will make less. Business is as simple as that. Of course, I can see Saul through.
“I can’t say you’re wrong,” Saul did not deny it. It was the fact that he wanted to gobble up the Lory Group. In such a way, he would be more confident when competing with Jalen.

Jalen did not insist. He nodded and was about to leave. “Suit yourself. If you need anything, feel free to find me.”
“Mr. Halton, don’t worry. If Ella needs anything, she will come to me. You won’t be bothered,” Saul interrupted.
Jalen glanced at Saul coldly, wishing that he could throw Saul out. He figured that Saul was such a pain in the ass.
Soon, Jalen left. Elaina turned to look at Saul beside her. “I am here today to attend Mr. Halton’s birthday banquet. I am here to wish him a happy birthday. So, I want no trouble. Do you know what I’m talking about?”
She thought, Nitzan is always nice to me. I don’t want any fuss at his birthday banquet.
Saul, on the other hand, is like a timebomb that might blast at any time.
