Chapter 501 You Shouldn’t Have Told Me

Coming out of the Gainsford Grup, Elaina sat in Jalen’s car. He had been waiting for her downstairs. Several times, he wanted to rush in to find her, but in the end, he did not.

He wasn’t afraid of the Gainsford Group. He was simply worried that he might affect Elaina’s plan.

He was glad that she was fine.

“How did it go?’ he started the car and asked casually.

Elaina nodded and said with a smile, “Quite well. At least I got what I wanted.”

She obtained the company from Peter and would move back to the Gainsford’s home. Things had worked perfectly for her. Today’s trip was worth it.

Thinking, she looked at Jalen with embarrassment. “I will move to the Gainsford’s home tonight. What are your plans? Will you continue to stay in Boston?”

She knew that Jalen was here for her, so she felt bad.

However, there were some things that she had to do, and therefore her hands were tied.

Jalen did not think too much about it. He said to Elaina, “I’ll have to stay in Boston for a while as well. My company’s branch here has developed quite well, so I want to strike while the iron is hot and deepen its roots in Boston.”

“Well, Boston is indeed one of the key areas in America. There are a lot more chances here/ She planned to build the company headquarters here, too.

“So, you don’t have to worry. No matter where you are, I can protect you/ He looked at Elaina, the affection in his eyes undisguised.

Although the Halton Group was still a small company in Boston, Jalen was confident in himself. In a few more years, he would make everyone know the Halton Group, and he could be Elaina’s savior.

Elaina was moved since she knew that everything Jalen had done was for her. “Sure. I believe you.”

Then the two did not continue the topic. Elaina named an address, and Jalen drove over.

When they arrived, he found that it was an office space. He looked at Elaina doubtfully. “Are you planning on setting up your company here?”

It wasn’t exactly a good location in Boston. After all, it was far from the city center. But it had great potential, and the land price was relatively cheaper here, so overall, it wasn’t a bad choice.

“That’s part of the reason, but not all.” Elaina got out of the car, and Jalen followed behind.

The two entered the office building. Elaina entered the elevator and pressed the elevator button, while Jalen silently followed behind her, not saying a word at all.

Not long after, the elevator stopped, and they walked out.

Elaina said to Jalen while facing the office that was basically fully decorated not far away, “This is the office for the Gansburg family.”

Jalen was stunned. He looked carefully and saw a sign that said “the Gansburg family”.

Soon, he understood what Elaina meant. “You plan to get the Gansburg family to Boston?”

“Yes. They will always be subject to others in New York.” Elaina thought, if they come to Boston, Quincy won’t be able to reach out this far. Also, since I’m back as a part of the Gainsford family again, Jenica and her family can more or less get to be protected.

Jalen looked at Elaina while having mixed feelings. After a while, he sighed helplessly, “You shouldn’t have told me.”

He thought, I’m friends with Quincy. Why did Elaina tell me? What if I tell Quincy? Once Quincy prepares in advance, maybe the Gansburg family won’t be able to move here easily. Anyway, Jenica will be the first to be implicated. I’m sure she won’t get away just like that.

“I believe you.” She told Jalen deliberately since she wanted to know if he would tell Quincy.

She thought, if I really want to take Jenica away, I need to keep Jalen out of it.

If he helps Quincy, then I might not be able to take Jenica away at all. In such a case, things might get a lot trickier.
