Chapter 1389

“No worries!” Charlie said with a gentle smile, “Let’s eat first.”

At noon, Estelle and Craig were having lunch together when suddenly a call came in from Henson Lamont.

“Have you eaten?” Henson asked.

“Are you asking me out for a meal?” Estelle chuckled lightly, “Are you going to ask me to pretend to be your relative at school again?”

“Do we still need to pretend? You already are!” Henson replied.

Estelle laughed and asked, “What’s up?”

“I’m with Hans Macclain. We’re thinking about going to Moonbrook” Henson said, “Want to join us?”

“What for?” Estelle asked.

“Hans’s sister, Sallie Macclain, you should know her well. She’s on a reality show about fashion design and is filming in Moonbrook now. She lost in the last episode, and the celebrity who’s working with her this season has been giving her a hard time. Seems like she’s also facing some problems. Anyway, Sallie called Hans, and she cried, so Hans is worried sick and insists on going to Moonbrook. I’m thinking about going with him.”

Henson gave a rough explanation of the situation.

Estelle frowned and asked, “Just the two of you?”,

“Yeah, you coming?” Henson asked.

“Don’t you guys have classes today?” Estelle inquired.

“We only have one gymnastics class this afternoon. I’ve already asked for leave, and I plan to meet up with Hans. Henson explained.

“Where are you guys meeting?”

Henson told her the address.

Estelle quickly said, “Wait for me there after you meet. I’ll go with you guys.”

“Okay, hurry up!”

Estelle gave a few more instructions before hanging up. Without finishing her lunch, she packed up her lunchbox and got up to leave.

“Where are you going? Why the rush?” Craig asked, looking up.

“Something came up. Is Mr. Tucker in today?” Estelle was planning to ask Mr. Tucker for a leave.

“Mr. Tucker doesn’t seem to be here, but Mr. West is here. You can go ahead, and I’ll let Mr. West know later.” Craig quickly said..

“Great!”

Estelle quickly briefed Blythe about her afternoon plans before driving off.

When she arrived at the meeting place, Hans stood up to greet her as soon as he saw her, “Estelle!”

“Have you guys eaten?” Estelle asked.

“We ate while waiting for you.” Henson was still wearing his school uniform, looking sunny and handsome.

Estelle nodded and asked Hans, “Does Sallie know you’re coming?”

“No!” Hans shook his head, “I heard Sallie cry on the phone, and I just wanted to go check on her. I’m afraid someone’s bullied her. Sallie seemed tough, but she got completely lost when she had a problem.”

Estelle chuckled, “Even if someone’s bullied Sallie, what can you do?”

“I’m going to support her!” Hans said seriously. He was two years older and a bit taller than Henson. The two of them standing together did give off a certain vibe.

Seeing his ready-to-fight posture, Estelle smiled and said, “Let’s go, I’ll take you guys.”

“Estelle, you better not go!” Hans tried to stop her, his young face serious, “Sallie said that being on this variety show was an opportunity you gave her. She doesn’t want to disappoint you or cause you trouble.”

“If you two go, that will cause Salle trouble. Many things can’t be solved with brute force.” Estelle was a bit unsure, but she had to stay strong and calm in front of these kids, “Let’s go. Let’s see what problems Sallie has run into.”

Henson patted Hans on the shoulder, “Don’t worry, there’s no problem Estelle can’t solve. Just listen to her.”

Hans hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded.

Estelle drove Henson and Hans to Moonbrook.

Moonbrook was situated southeast of J City, about an hour’s drive away.
