Chapter 1501

Both of them only looked up when Sophia put a cup of coffee on the table. The girl in the blue dress spoke first, saying with a smile, “Sophia, you’re here!”

This girl was Orli Remington, Robin’s schoolmate. When Robin returned to the country, she quit her job in another city to join Robin’s company and currently worked in the business department. Sophia had met her at a company party before.

“Busy?” Sophia asked, her short hair playful and her laugh refreshing.

“I was just discussing some client needs with Robin. We’re pretty much done, so you guys go ahead and chat. I won’t disturb you. I’m heading out!” Orli got up, waved to Sophia, and then walked out briskly.

Sophia waited until she closed the door before she sat down on the sofa, hugging Robin, “Miss me?”

Robin chuckled, “Didn’t I tell you not to come to the company during work hours? It affects productivity.”

Sophia frowned, “Why can’t I come? We’re not doing anything wrong, and our relationship is public. Who cares! Besides, I only came because it’s almost time to clock out!”

Robin didn’t say anything else, just asked with a smile, “Need something?”

“Today, Mr. Gilder and Estelle are meeting with our mentor. I want to bring you along. Since you don’t have time to meet my parents in B City, let’s meet the mentor first. As long as he approves of you, my parents will have no objections.” Sophia said happily

“Today?” Robin seemed a bit hesitant, “I have an important client coming soon. I may not be able to go.”

“What kind of client comes so late? Seriously!” Sophia grumbled, clearly unhappy

“It’s a client from Y country. They’ll arrive in an hour. I need to personally pick them up.” Robin apologized, “This client is very important to our company. Can we meet the mentor some other time?”

Sophia hugged his waist, pouting,

“Sure, alright!” She suddenly smiled, “How could I ever get in the way of your work? It’s not urgent, we can go next time.”

“Thank you. Sophia.” What Robin loved most about Sophia was her understanding nature. Even though she could be a bit willful at times, she never held him back when it mattered most.

Sophia winked and smiled, “Do you want me to go with you? I can skip meeting the mentor today.”

“No need, I can handle it. Plus, the negotiations can be quite dull. I don’t want you to be bored.”

Sophia tilted her head and laughed, “Well, I was going to say, being with you is never boring”

In the middle of their conversation, Robin’s phone buzzed with a new message. He picked it up to take a look,

Ort: President Hester, I just realized there might be a couple of holes in the partnership proposal we discussed earlier]

Robin let go of Sophia to respond to the message, [I’ll swing by your office in a bit]

[Great

Robin put away his phone, saying, “You should get going. I’ve still got some work to do.”

“It’s been three days since I last saw you. I want to spend a little more time with you.” Sophia was reluctant to leave but didn’t want to disturb Robins work. So she leaned in closer, “Kiss me, and then I’ll leave.”

Robin lowered his head and gently kissed her radiant

lips. His eyes were filled with tenderness, “Once this deal is wrapped up, we can have a proper date

“Sounds good “Sophia felt content. She hugged Robin once more before getting up to say goodbye, “I’m leaving now. I’ll text you later, and you need to reply immediately You can’t leave me hanging like last time”
