Chapter 264

Austin couldn’t help but take a step back, his face was slightly pale, and he looked at the man in front of him again, asking, “Who are you?” Jonathan’s eyes were cold, and he slowly said, “Jonathan.”

At first, Austin didn’t react, just feeling it sounded familiar. When he remembered who Jonathan was and what the name represented, his face changed instantly.

Charlie and the others had already come over, with Carson holding a wine bottle in his hand, coldly saying to Austin, “What’s your name?” Austin’s legs went weak, almost kneeling, retreating while saying, “This is a misunderstanding! I didn’t know this was Mr. Lamont’s place!” As he spoke, he directly raised his hand and slapped himself, “Sorry for disturbing Mr. Lamont and everyone else, it’s my fault!”

At this point, Mamie had brought the security over and surrounded Austin and his people.

Charlie spoke indifferently, “Take them out and beat them up, don’t spoil our mood!”

Hearing Charlie’s words, the security guards no longer hesitated, and more than a dozen people surrounded them, dragging Austin and his men

out.

The bodyguard who had fainted in the private room was also cleaned out.

Jonathan walked towards the sofa in the resting area, and Estelle followed him, before seeing Charlie winking at her,.

The broken glass and wine bottles in the room were quickly cleaned up, and Charlie called on the others to continue playing. –

Jonathan reached for a cigarette, and thought of something before hesitating and picking up the wine next to him. He poured a glass, and asked Estelle, “Who was that?”

“The owner of Shining Jewels, Austin.” Estelle replied.

Knowing there was no way to hide it, Estelle told him about Norah and Nicolas.

Jonathan’s eyes were half down, and his face darkened, “Why didn’t you tell me?”

Estelle pursed her lips and said, “Norah didn’t want her family to know, and I promised to keep it a secret for her. I thought it was her personal issue, and it would be over once she broke up with Nicolas, but I didn’t expect the Burke family to come here.”

Austin would definitely know about Leah stealing other people’s boyfriend, and seeing his arrogant attitude today proved that they were like two peas in a pod thinking that money could solve everything and that people could only obey.

“When did you hit Leah?” Jonathan asked with a heavy gaze.

“The day before yesterday, here at Midnight Bar.” Estelle replied truthfully.

Jonathan raised an eyebrow, “The day your hand got hurt, did it happen while hitting her?”

Estelle nodded, “Yes!”

Jonathan’s eyes became meaningful, suddenly remembering that someone had told him Manley had beaten someone up at Midnight Bar that day, including several women. At the time, he hadn’t taken it to heart, but now he understood that Estelle was the one who hit them, and Manley was just cleaning up the aftermath for her.

His chest was heavy with anger, and his tone wasn’t too good, “This is our family’s issues. You didn’t come to me, but instead you asked Manley for help?”

Estelle immediately replied, “No, Manley didn’t know why I hit Leah; he just happened to see it.”

Jonathan said nothing, picked up his glass and drank a gulp. The light above his head cast a faint shadow on his side face, making him seem cold and indifferent.

Putting down his glass, Jonathan didn’t look at Estelle and walked out.

Estelle sat on the sofa for a while, got up and left. Charlie saw the two of them leave without saying a word, raising an eyebrow.

When Estelle returned to the rest room, Mamie came over and comforted her, “Were you scared? You should go home early, and I’ll have Amy keep an eye on 8809 for you.”

Estelle nodded, “Thanks, Mamie.”

“No problem, go home!”

Estelle left Midnight Bar and ran into Millard downstairs, “Ms. Macclain, Mr. Lamont asked me to take you home.”

Estelle asked, “What about him?”
