Estelle looked at Manley with a calm look, “Are you still acting? Jonathan doesn’t even care about you!’
Manley raised his eyebrows and squinted his eyes with a smile, “I feel like Jonathan is furious!”
Estelle was speechless.
When they returned to the private room, Bagot got up and cautiously tried to please Manley.
Manley sat down and smiled lightly, “I just talked with Estelle, and my girl Estelle is kind-hearted. She won’t take this matter to heart anymore. Just keep Hooper away from the Midnight Bar and Estelle, or else next time it won’t be this easy to get off the hook!”
Bagot was overjoyed and nodded immediately, “Don’t worry, I’ll definitely keep him far away from Ms. Macclain. Mr. Scott, thank you for your generosity. Cheers to you!”

“You don’t?” Manley tilted his head to look at her, “If you don’t, then this won’t be the end of it.”
Bagot’s face changed and he pleaded to Estelle, “Ms. Macclain, it’s just a small dessert shop, please spare me. The movie is on hold, and so many people are waiting for work!”
Estelle looked at Manley in disbelief, “Weren’t you promised before?”
“I did promise, but I didn’t say I wouldn’t set conditions. Just accept the dessert shop and we’ll call it even!” Manley laughed playfully.
Estelle frowned, thinking Manley was a real nutjob.
Bagot looked at Estelle pleadingly again, “Ms. Macclain, it’s my son’s fault after all. This dessert shop is meant to apologize to you on his behalf, so please accept it.”
Jonathan lowered his head and looked at his phone, seemingly uninterested in what was happening. Mr. Daly was afraid things would change again, so he waited expectantly for Estelle to relent.
Sitting next to Estelle, Magdalen suddenly spoke, “Since President Raye sincerely wants to give it to you, just accept it. A dessert shop compared to the reputation of the Raye family’s young master is really nothing.”
Estelle had to agree, “Alright!”
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Finally, the matter was resolved, and the atmosphere in the private room became much more relaxed. Just as everyone was about to toast and enjoy themselves, Jonathan suddenly got up, “I still have something to do, so I’ll leave first!”
Bagot quickly stood up, “Let me walk you out, Mr. Lamont!”
“No need!” Jonathan’s expression was distant and cold. He said goodbye and left.
Hattie reluctantly watched Jonathan’s figure leave. Thinking about how cold he had seemed earlier, she didn’t dare to follow him.
With Jonathan gone, Manley seemed even happier, constantly caring and attentive towards Estelle. To the others, it seemed that Manley really loved Estelle deeply.
Feeling a little left out, Estelle felt that everyone else’s happiness had nothing to do with her.
