Manley caught on that this woman was trying to sow discord between him and Estelle, thinking he didn’t know about Estelle and Jonathan. She was deliberately reminding him.
Manley narrowed his eyes and motioned for Hattie to come closer.
Hattie immediately took a step forward.
Manley asked, “Doesn’t Mr. Daly have no requirements for the character of his lead actress?”
Hattie was stunned.
Manley’s face turned cold, and he sneered, “I think Mr. Daly’s choice of people is really poor. This movie is doomed even without me sabotaging it!”
Manley then ordered the driver, “Let’s go. I’m feeling sick. Staying here another second might make me throw up!”

For the next few days, Estelle didn’t see Jonathan or Manley at the Midnight Bar.
