Chapter 773

So, Carmella has been scheming on how to get her out of the Macclain family since way back when

It was her constant stirring up of trouble that gradually made Simone’s attitude towards her go down the drain.

Back then, she had just returned to a normal life from a dangerous situation. She had been too naive to see through Carmella’s tricks. She had thought Carmella only became so cunning later on.

Carmella’s neck was being toughly choked. Scared, she struggled and said, “Estelle, let go of me. Let go!”

“Carmella!”

A worried shout came from behind. Without turning her head, Estelle knew Simone was there.

Estelle pushed Carmella to the ground and turned to look at Simone.

Simone rushed over to help Carmella.

“Carmella, are you okay?”

Tears welled up in Carmella’s eyes, and she cried out loudly. “Mom, sis wants to kill me!

Simone glared at Estelle angrily, “What are you trying to do?!

“What happened?” Bennett also ran over, looking at everyone in surprise.

“Estelle was about to hit Carmella. If I hadn’t rushed over in time, Carmella would have been choked to death by her!” Simone said.

Bennett frowned at Estelle, “Estelle, what on earth happened?”

Estelle kept a straight face and said nothing.

Simone was busy adjusting Carmella’s clothes, checking if her neck was injured, looking pale from anger.

Bennett frowned, “Estelle, we originally wanted to invite you to the dinner party today. We didn’t call you because the weather was bad. If you are angry about this, blame me, don’t hurt Carmella!”

“You ask Carmella what happened!‘ Estelle didn’t want to explain.

Bennett turned to Carmella, “Carmella, what happened?”

Carmella shook her head innocently and said, ‘I don’t know either. I just bumped into my sister when I went to the bathroom. When she found out that we were having dinner here, she suddenly got angry and said she wanted to choke me to death!”

Simone glared at Estelle “We deliberately didn’t call you because I simply don’t want to see you! Not just today, you better not come back ever!”

“Mom!” Carmella leaned on Simone’s shoulder and cried.

Bennett gave Simone a stern look, noticing that a waiter was passing by and looking this way, and said, “Let’s go back to the private box.”

“Sure!”

Before Simone could speak, Estelle happily answered

As they all headed towards the private dining box where Bennett’s family was having their meal, Estelle took out her phone and sent a message.

Back in the privatebox, Bennett said, “Today we’re all here, so let’s lay it all out on the table!”

“Estelle, your mom and I were wrong in the past, causing you to suffer a lot outside. Don’t blame Carmella, she’s just an innocent kid like you.”

After that, he turned to Simone, “No matter what, Estelle is our daughter. Let bygones be bygones. We’re still one big happy family!”

Simone glanced at Estelle, not hiding the disgust in her eyes, ‘Only if she apologizes to Carmella and promises not to harm her again will I consider accepting her as my daughter!”

‘Estelle, you should apologize to Carmella first!” Bennett turned to Estelle

Estelle’s gaze scanned across Carmella’s face, marked with lingering tears, before she spoke deliberately, “Firstly, I am not Carmella’s sister. We’re not related by blood, and I am not older than her. It was her insistence on referring to me as her sister when I initially came back to the Macclain family”

Simone retorted, “That’s because Carmella knows how to respect and tolerate“”
