Chapter 822

Magdalen nodded, “May 5th, which is also the day we made it official. It’s worth commemorating!”

“You’re going to be my maid of honor.”

She seemed to remember something and laughed, “Should I give Jonathan a heads up? I mean, I don’t wanna trouble his darling!”

Estelle was a bit embarrassed and focused on her cake, “No need, I’ll tell him when the time comes.”

Magdalen laughed, “Just kidding, do you really think I would ask for his opinion? If he dares to disagree, I’ll whisk you away, out of his sight forever!”

Estelle glanced at her, Magdalen seemed unusually cheerful, probably because of her upcoming wedding.

“Oh by the way,” Magdalen suddenly asked, “Jonathan still doesn’t know your true identity?”

Estelle wiped her hands with a napkin, answering nonchalantly, “I’ll tell him when we go public after my graduation.”

It was probably Simone and Bennett’s attitude that made her hesitate to disclose her connection to the Macclain family. Anytime she thought about telling Jonathan, she felt uncomfortable, even resistant.

But her identity was not just the Macclain family’s daughter, she was also from the Jarvis family.

Once they went public, their relationship would become even more complicated.

For instance, the Wolverine issue, she didn’t want him to get involved!

She enjoyed their simple interactions now, so she resisted diving into complexity.

Since he agreed to wait until her graduation, she’ll reveal everything to him then. Perhaps by then, she would have dealt with Wolverine, freeing herself of all burdens!

Magdalen asked, “When he finds out, will he be shocked?”

She looked at Estelle meaningfully, “To be honest, was your initial plan to get close to him, make him fall for you, then drop the truth bomb?”

Estelle replied seriously, “I didn’t think that far, but I did approach him with an agenda.”

She wanted to understand Jonathan better and buy Villa del Sol from him, that was why she agreed to be his friends with benefits after that night.

Magdalen smirked, “Just as I predicted, I’ve got foresight. I guessed it all when you first started tutoring at the Lamont family!”

Estelle smiled, “I still have a lot to sort out, I hope I can tie up all loose ends before we go public!”

Magdalen knew what she was thinking, her tone became solemn, “Ella, you’ve done more than enough!”

Estelle didn’t want to dwell on it, she changed the subject, “Are you going to be super busy?”

“I’ve picked out the wedding dress, going for measurements this afternoon. It’ll be ready in two months. Harriet is handling the jewelry. Morrison is taking care of the rest, not much for me to do.”

After chit–chatting for a while, Magdalen received a call from Morrison to go for her dress fitting.

Estelle also had to get going, she said goodbye to Magdalen in the yard. One was off to meet Morrison, the other was off to check–in for her costume.

About half an hour after Estelle left, Gwen came by, noticing the yard was empty.

She suddenly remembered something and walked towards the stone wall on the right.

She moved a bunch of dried grass, revealing a hidden voice recorder inside the crack of the wall.

Gwen took the recorder, listening with a smug expression on her face. She had been constantly bullied by Craig these days, so she thought of a way to fight back.

She knew Craig would occasionally sneak into this yard for a nap and he snored, so she deliberately hid a recorder in the wall to capture his snoring and make fun of him.

This 1000–dollar recorder was top–of–the–line, a birthday gift from her dad to help her practice lines and voice training. The recorder had been running for three hours, capturing everything with crystal clear quality, even the distant calls of the crew were recorded.
