She affectionately took Charlotte's hand and said, “Since we parted last time, I’ve been wanting to chat with you, but | never found the right opportunity. | didn’t expect to meet you here today...”

“Chat?” Charlotte smirked. “Sure, why don’t we find a quiet place to have a good chat?”

Wendy’s smile froze on her face. “Isn’t that a bit rude? How can we leave the senior alone?” Wendy softly scolded.

Charlotte’s expression turned serious as she slowly pulled her hand away from Wendy’s embrace. “I’m sorry, | have other things

to do.”

She understood Wendy’s plan, and although she wouldn't intervene, she also didn’t want to become a

bridge for Wendy and Joe to strike up a conversation. Especially since she wasn’t very familiar with Joe

herself.

Charlotte quickly walked away, and Joe’s brow furrowed. He glanced indifferently at Wendy, said nothing,

and followed Charlotte.

Wendy’s expression turned ugly at the silence, and she glared at the two as they walked away. “I will not

let you off so easily!”

Charlotte had thought Joe would stay and talk to Wendy, but to her surprise, Joe caught up to her not long

after they left.

She was very surprised. “Don’t you still have something to say to Wendy?”

After a moment of silence, Joe shook his head. “I’m not familiar with her, and there’s nothing to say.”

They walked for a while and arrived at the girls’ dormitory.

For some reason, Charlotte silently breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the dormitory from a distance.

She turned to Joe and gave him a bright smile. “Thank you for bringing me here, I'll just...”

Before Charlotte could say goodbye, Joe took out his phone. “It seems like we haven't exchanged contact

information yet?”

Charlotte was taken aback, but then slowly took out her phone and added Joe’s contact information.

“Goodbye.”

After adding him on WhatsApp, Charlotte didn’t waste a second and quickly said goodbye to Joe before

going upstairs.

Back in the dorm, Charlotte unsurprisingly found Eva already lying on the bed. “You left me alone with

Joe!” Charlotte complained to Eva.

Eva quickly blinked her eyes. “I was just trying to give you two some alone time.”

Before Eva could finish her sentence, Charlotte grabbed her wrist and started tickling her.
