The two of them had been fooling around in the dorm for a while when Charlotte’s phone suddenly rang.
On the screen, a new WhatsApp message popped up: “Hi.”
Charlotte hadn’t expected him to send her a message first.
For some reason, she always felt that Joe had a certain kind of aggressiveness about him.
Even though his expression was always very gentle whenever he saw her, Charlotte couldn’t shake the feeling that it wasn’t the real him.
Charlotte stood there in a daze for a moment, and Eva happened to see her chatting screen.

“You actually added Joe on WhatsApp so quickly! You know, no matter if it's a man or a woman, anyone who gets close to Joe has never successfully added him on WhatsApp. Many people even suspect that he doesn’t even have a phone.”
As Eva rambled on, Charlotte interrupted her excited chatter with a resigned tone. “He asked to add me.”
“He asked to add you?” Eva’s eyes widened even more at this revelation. She stared at Charlotte for a moment and then suddenly clapped her hands. “I know, Joe must have fallen for you!”
Hearing her assertive statement, Charlotte felt even more incredulous. “We've only met twice. How could he possibly have fallen for me?” Eva also realized that her speculation was too far-fetched and could only nod in agreement. “Maybe there’s some connection between your family and the Smith family, and he added you out of obligation.”
Eva's words sparked a memory in Charlotte’s mind. She immediately sat up, very excitedly saying, “I know!”
Joe’s various hints had failed to trigger any recollection of their past encounters, but with Eva’s prompting, she suddenly remembered.
It was mainly because she had really liked that diamond butterfly hair clip at the time, so she had remembered it for a long time.

Charlotte immediately sent her speculation to Joe.
