Chapter 756

Chapter 756 Unveiling When Joe received the call, he was still looking at the information that Erik had investigated. Sharon’s voice came over the phone, and he stood there dumbfounded, his phone involuntarily falling to the ground. It was as if a long-lost rib had suddenly been put back into his body, and Joe finally felt a rare sense of relaxation. He took a deep breath before asking with a slight tremor, “Does she look good?” “She’s a bit thinner, but she seems to be fine,” Sharon said, observing from a distance without approaching.

“That’s good.” After saying this, Joe fell silent. Facing the beloved one that he was about to regain, he didn’t know how to express his excitement at the moment. Sharon empathized with him and sighed lightly, “They are currently bidding at the auction, and I think she will be won by your mother soon.”

After hanging up the phone, Joe sat back in his chair, leaning his head back slightly, and overwhelming fatigue swept over him. Ever since Charlotte disappeared, he had only been sleeping one or two hours a day, and the fear of losing her haunted him every day, although he never showed it. He quietly enjoyed five minutes of joy before making calls one by one to Old Mr. Clinton, Sir Smith, and Huxley. Since he had not yet actually seen Charlotte, Joe specifically instructed them to keep it quiet for now. He wanted to see what Martha and Hope were really up to after going through

all this trouble. Almost as soon as he hung up the last call, Martha called him. Martha was extremely excited on the other end of the phone, “We found her!” Joe’s hand, resting on the back of his chair, clenched into a fist, but he tried to keep his voice steady, “What?” “We found Charlotte!” Martha’s joyful voice came through. Although he had known the answer, Joe’s breathing involuntarily became more rapid, “Where is she? I’m coming to find her right away!”

Martha’s smile deepened at Joe’s eagerness, “We’re at the last auction site, hurry over.” After hanging up the phone, Joe headed straight to the airport and boarded his private jet. The journey to the border country was short, but it felt incredibly long for Joe. He easily found the owner of the hotel and even took the initiative to write a check without waiting for the owner to speak, handing it to him.

Seeing the staggering numbers on the check, the hotel owner was dumbfounded. Subconsciously, he asked, “Are you buying my hotel?” Joe glanced at him dismissively, and the hotel owner quickly shut his mouth, leading Joe to the auction venue. “What are you here for this time?” the owner asked, not expecting Joe to answer, but he quickly said, “I’m here to pick up my wife.” The joy in his tone was something the owner had never seen in him before. Thinking of his wife and children, the owner said sourly, “Congratulations.” Joe nodded and, following Martha’s instructions, arrived at the private room of the auction. He had expected to see Charlotte immediately, but the private room was empty except for Martha and Hope. Joe’s initially lifted smile immediately sank, and there was even a hint of

murderous intent in his eyes. “Where is she?”

Joe suppressed his rising anger and asked in a deep voice.
