On their way home, Anna suddenly asked Charlotte, “Mom, can we appear on TV?”

Anna quickly explained, “It’s something a gentleman told us.”

To her surprise, Anna blinked and took out a business card from her little purse. “It’s okay, Mom. The gentleman said you can call this number anytime.”
Charlotte stared in astonishment at the business card in Anna’s hand. She hadn’t expected Anna to be so prepared.
With no more excuses left, Charlotte reluctantly dialed the number and was surprised to find the director still very enthusiastic. They quickly arranged a meeting.
The variety show director’s name was Jerome, and he had filmed several popular variety shows over the years. His sole motto for these shows was authenticity.
It was also why Charlotte had agreed to meet with him. After all, if she was going to take her kids on a variety show, she didn’t want to cooperate with contrived scripts.
When they arrived at the appointed café, the director, Jerome, quickly approached them with a friendly smile.
He looked at Charlotte and said, “To be honest, both you and Mr. Smith are the people I most wanted to invite. That’s why I made an effort to persuade Anna and Ben.”
