Chapter 231

Chapter 231: Beggar

Eating my own words? Tang Yichen was puzzled as he glanced at his sister who raised an eyebrow, provocating him to refute her statement.josei

Don't pamper them too much.

Don't act clingy.

Don't care too much about them.

Every love tip he gave to his sister rang in his head making his ears turn red, "It's nothing like that. Cough, I just don't want her to fall sick," He glanced at Mo Jia who was looking at them confusedly, "Love has its ways," the man murmured instinctively.

Tang Li glanced at the man strangely, her lips slightly twisted.

Realizing what he just said, Tang Yichen awkwardly scratched his head, "We should leave now," he said before patting her head.

Tang Li nodded and stood there as she watched him carrying Mo Jia in his arms. "We can't stop ourselves from falling for that special someone," she murmured as she looked up at the sky that was turning dark, "Even if I was given the privilege, I would still choose to fall for you.

Mo Jia stood at the entrance of the lavish restaurant waiting for Tang Yichen who said he would come right after parking his car.

"I should just go inside first," she murmured before turning around to enter inside.

"Ah…"

Lucy glanced at her cellphone lying on the floor with its display cracked before raising her head to glare at the woman who bumped into her.

"I'm so…"

Mo Jia was interrupted before she could apologize. Rage apparent on her face, Lucy yelled at Mo Jia, "Are you blind or you simply do not look where you're going?"

Her attitude was contrasting to how professionally she behaved in the studio while conversing with the photographer earlier.

She scanned Mo Jia from head to toe, making sure that she was not someone influential. And she was sure of it when she found her wearing a pair of denim jeans combined with a plain black shirt.

She snorted. When she looked at that beautiful face, she was worried that she would turn out to be a socialite or some rich heiress. She did not want problems for herself which she couldn't take head-on.

But her non-branded clothes completely washed away her doubts.

"Do you think you can afford a cellphone as expensive as this? You can't right? Then, how dare you bump into me?" She mocked Mo Jia, not aware of the fact that the daughter of the Mo Family liked to dress in a low-profile way.

What she thought was a plain pair of denim jeans and shirt was more expensive than a 9 bhk flat. Not to mention the exquisite accessories she was sporting on were from the exclusive royal collection.

But Tang Yichen's secretary failed to notice all that, as those things were possibly out of her reach.

Even if she has seen the models in the company, they used highly publicized brands such as Chanel. So, how would she know about the iconic low-key brands?

Mo Jia who was about to apologize a second ago, speechlessly looked at the unreasonable woman, her face expressionlessly as she blinked her blue eyes.

"It was you who was busy on the phone while walking," she said. It was not her fault if someone bumped into her when she was just standing at one place.

Lucy scoffed, "You dare to retort? Do you even know who I'm?" She crossed her arms in front of her chest as she raised her chin proudly, "I can make you disappear with a snap of my fingers."

"Miss Lucy, is there something we can help you with?" The manager who happened to pass by quickly came around to bootlick the lady.

She was after all Tang Yichen's secretary and according to rumors, they had more to their relationship. Anyhow, she was not someone he dared to offend.

"Oh yes, just get her out of here. This is a big restaurant, you shouldn't let such poor beggars inside, you understand?" Lucy smirked as she looked at the manager who was vehemently nodding but her expression became disgruntled when Mo Jia was still expressionless.

Mo Jia looked at herself with a weird gaze. Poor beggar? It was the second time someone thought of her as someone poor. She was reminded of the incident when she met Tang Yichen for the first time in the airport.

At that time, his bodyguard considered her as a poor person, and now this lady. Coincidentally, both the incidents were because of a cellphone.

"Tsk...Tsk... Walking like a blind person, acting like a deaf. You sure have your ways. That white lotus face must have been used to seduce rich men," Lucy did not want to admit that she was jealous of the woman in front of her. She was basically a nobody yet she was blessed with such a gorgeous face.

Moreover, she did not know why Mo Jia brought over a sense of discomfort to her, maybe it was a woman's sixth sense.

Mo Jia looked up at the woman, her blue eyes flashed with a cold light as she took out her phone to call her Grandpa. This restaurant was recommended by him to her.

Although, her identity as the Young Miss of Mo Family was not public, as she never appeared in front of media, but that did not mean that anyone could provoke her like that.

She did not have a bad temper but that does not give anyone the right the humiliate her.

"Miss, it would be good if you walk out of here. People like you are not allowed to such places," The manager said, sounding as polite as ever but the mockery in his voice was apparent.

Mo Jia squinted. Her face was expressionless but rage burning in her eyes. As the Young Miss of Mo family, no one was allowed to raise a finger at her, it was what she was taught since childhood.

She opened her mouth to speak, not caring if her identity was revealed at this point or she was surrounded by a swarm of reporters after a few minutes.
