Chapter 232

Chapter 232: Don't force yourself on me

Tang Li wiped the crystal-like sweat droplets from her forehead with the back of her hand before looking at the sumptuous dinner she prepared for Mo Yuhan.

"He likes prawns…" she murmured, glancing at the third delicacy on the dining table.

Although things were not going well between them for a few days, everything would be sorted out as long as they had a proper conversation.

After their crazy sex last night, she felt like throwing tantrums when her body ached. After that, it was he who ignored her.

This time, she would take the initiative.

Her eyes shone with determination, "Whatever it is, I, Tang Li, am a born expert when it comes to clinging to Mo Yuhan," she said proudly while raising the serving spoon in her hand.

"Is it?" Mo Yuhan whispered right beside her ear.

The sensation of it made the hair on her body stand at its end as she dropped the spoon in her hand, startled.

"Since when have you become so sneaky?" she turned around to look at the man, tightly wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Ever since you have started daydreaming about clinging to me," he replied as he stroked her cheeks, his other hand caressing her waist.

No one spoke about the unpleasant matters, Tang Li did not ask him about the things he was hiding as they just held each other, in silence.

She inhaled his manly scent, trying to calm her nerves. It has been a long time since they had a moment like this.

"You ignored me, you left the studio without talking to me," she said after what seemed like a long time, being reminded of how he left.

She did not want to sound dramatic, but she felt as if she was abandoned when her brother informed her that Mo Yuhan has left for a meeting. He could have just waited for her to come out of the changing room, couldn't he?

His gaze deepened as he looked into her aggrieved eyes. She did not look as indifferent as always.

Ignore? How could he ever do that? He just did not want to face her questioning gaze and let her know that he was indeed hiding things from her.

Furthermore, he felt as if someone clenched his heart when he could not reveal their relationship even when he desperately wanted to.

He was not aware of how to explain his complicated feelings to her.

He did not know until that point that such small things could ever affect a person like him.

"You were the one who ignored me first," The man said, a little sullenly, suddenly reminded of how she prioritized Tang Yichen over him.

Tang Li furrowed her brows, "You were so.. rough yesterday," she averted her gaze slightly and looked at her arms wrapped around his waist, "I could barely walk today," she murmured in a soft voice.

"Who told you to mention dying?" Usually, Mo Yuhan would have long given in to her. But for some reason, President Mo was acting pettily today.

Tang Li raised an eyebrow, "I was merely stating a fact," It was obvious that she would have died if she had consumed that poisoned food.

"You are unreasonable," she murmured before continuing, "It was not like I was cursing myself to di..mmph..!"

Mo Yuhan slammed his lips on hers, swallowing the rest of her words. Her grip on his waist tightened as he deepened the kiss, his tongue was shoved inside exploring every inch if her mouth, she was as sweet as ever.josei

"Ah…" a stifled moan escaped her lips when he pressed their bodies together, she could feel his hardness.

The man bit her lips, "Stating a fact? I dare you to state such facts again," he whispered against her lips.

Die? He would shield her from every danger.

His tone was harsh and his azure eyes emitted a cold light that made her flinch.

For the first time in her life, Tang Li felt afraid of the man as her face turned slightly pale.

Mo Yuhan did not notice the change in her expression as he glanced at the nicely arranged delicacies on the dining table.

"You made them?" He asked, without averting his gaze from the table.

"M…Mm.." she softly murmured, in a daze. The coldness in his voice earlier was something difficult to forget.

"Prawns?" He frowned as he glanced at the third delicacy.

Tang Li shrugged off her weird thoughts from before as she looked at him, "You like them, don't you?" she asked.

"Ah…" Her eyes widened when Mo Yuhan lifted her up, carrying her over his shoulder before walking upstairs.

"What are you doing?" she tried to struggle but it was of no use as the man's grip was too firm. He wasn't holding her tightly, she was not in pain but she could not even move out of his embrace.

He helped her sit on the bed before moving closer to her as he extended his hand.

Tang Li closed her eyes, "You cannot force yourself on me," she shouted at him with all her might.

Even though the culprit was dead, the nightmares that haunted her for years were still there.

The past flashed through her mind. That dark room, that drug, her hands being harshly pinned on the wall, she was suddenly reminded of everything.

"Lili.." Mo Yuhan turned on the bedside lights as he extended his hand towards her.

"M…Mo Yuhan, I said don't force yourself on me," she coldly said, turning her pale face towards him. The coldness in his voice from before seemed to have left a deep imprint on her.

The hand that he had extended to stroke her face froze in the mid-air as he looked into her eyes that were filled with fear.

He thought she was hallucinating but she mentioned his name. Was she scared of him? Since when?

"Force?" Mo Yuhan chuckled mirthlessly, his voice was as cold as the call of the devil but there was a trace of sadness lingering in it. When had he ever forced himself on her?

He raised his hand and Tang Li flinched for a second but he did not even look at her as he picked up the first-aid box from the bedside table before taking out the antiseptic cream from it.

He put the medicine tube right beside her before standing up from the bed.
