Chapter 215: Three Mysteries Shop

Yang Shi and Mo Yi leisurely walked on the streets as they looked at the shops. All sorts of strange and exotic treasures could be seen there.

" We are selling ancient cultivation manuals. All are Purple rank and above. Hurry and buy them only for 200,000 gold coins."josei

" Mystic rank battle technique- War Elephant Nine Fist, only for 400,000 gold coins."

" Come and see this treasure spear. Forged by bones of Flaming Sun Beast, it's a True rank treasure. Only for today, the price is Fifty Spirit Stone."

Yang Shi almost stumbled as he heard this shout. Fifty Spirit stone for a True rank weapon is a bit too pricy. But When Yang Shi looked at the treasure spear, his expression turned strange.

The Flaming Sun Beast is a Fire type Ancient rank beast. Its bones are very valuable. If the spear was truly forged by the bones of Flaming Sun Beast, Fifty spirit stones might be still acceptable. But when Yang Shi used his Celestial View, he saw anomalies in the spear.

" No wonder, It's really not the bones of Flaming Sun Beast." Yang Shi chuckled. Forging weapons are by no means an easy task. When using materials of too higher or lower grades, the chance of success becomes too low. Ancient rank beasts are pretty rare here, so Yang Shi skeptical from the start.

" Brother Yang, do you want to buy that spear?" Mo Yi asked as he saw YangShi gazing at the spear.

" No, Why would I want to buy a fake spear?" Yang Shi shook his head.

" The Flaming Sun Beast Spear is fake?" Mo Yi was surprised. " Have you forgotten? I am a blacksmith." Yang Shi smiled with a smug face. " Damn, That shop keeper is trying to reap rewards without sowing." Mo Yi hissed.

" Hey, you two! What are you talking about?" The shopkeeper heard Yang Shi and Mo Yi as he shouted in rage. Yang Shi and Mo Yi were chatting casually, so their voice wasn't lowered. 

The shopkeeper was displeased as they were ruining his business. Some people already started to show dubious expressions as they looked at the spear.

" What? Aren't we allowed to show our thoughts?" Mo Yi rebuked. He almost blurted that, " You think we are interested in your fake item?"

" You guys are slandering my reputation. If you don't have proof, then don't talk nonsense." The shopkeeper raged.

" Fellow daoist, don't be angry. We shall not disturb you any longer." Yang Shi smiled as he dragged away Mo Yi. Mo Yi was unwilling, but he followed Yang Shi.

" But why brother Yang? We should have exposed him." Mo Yi snorted. " Brother Mo, your thinking is too rigid. There are countless people making money from fraud business, are you going to stop all?" Yang Shi shook his head.

" Let it put in the hands of fate, as this is what decides all fortunes and disasters."

" Brother Yang is wise. Let the heaven decide who is going to suffer from that spear." Mo Yi laughed. They started to look around for more treasures. Suddenly, Yang Shi stopped near a store as he looked at the items.

" The guests are in luck today. I recently found these treasures from an ancient ruin. This cauldron is a damaged True grade weapon. However, it can increase the chances of pill refining by a fifth. If it was restored, its ability will be enhanced further." The shopkeeper of that shop smiled.

" Yes, this cauldron looks good." Yang Shi casually said, but his eyes were looking at another thing. " That Amethyst rock, how much is for that?" Yang Shi asked.

" That is a Metal Amythyst rock. It's about 50 kg weight. It's good for making weapons like spears or halberds. It's only 150,000 gold coins." The shopkeeper replied.

" That's bit much. I can give 76,000 coins." Yang Shi frowned. " That... That's way low." The shopkeeper's face turned stiff as he denied it. " 100,000. Give or I will leave." Yang  Shi spoke. " This isn't any rare metal rock. 100,00 is a very reasonable price." 

" Fine." The shopkeeper nodded after some thoughts. Yang Shi smiled as he took that rock. " What about that cauldron?" Yang Shi asked again. " 350,000 gold coins, no bargain." The shopkeeper said firmly.

" Hehe, Although I am not interested in that, you should increase your price a bit more. That cauldron is more valuable than you think." Yang Shi laughed as he left with Mo Yi. Mo Yi couldn't help but look at Yang Shi's action with daze, as he couldn't understand a thing.

" What's so special about that Amethyst rock?" Mo Yi asked curiously. " This Amethyst rock isn't simple at all. Normally, its surface should have been rough and porous, but it's smooth with a shade of blue." Yang Shi said. He took out one of his daggers as he slowly cut the stone.

The stone was big as a watermelon, but soon, it reduced to the size of a ball. As its final layer was ut, the stone shone with a peaceful icy light. " Hoho, It's really a Midnight Jade." Yang Shi's smile became wider.

" It's filled with Jade qi with Yin qi, perfect for Ruxue." Yang Shi said. " Ah! So this is a gift for Sister Ruxue?" Mo Yi grinned.

" But what about that cauldron?" Mo Yi asked again. " It was indeed a genuine item. What's more, these seemed to have some strange technique imprinted inside the cauldron."

" So I helped that shopkeeper a bit." Yang Shi laughed. He only did because of the sudden encounter with Midnight Jade.

" Hey1 Why don't you help me to pick some treasures? Brother Yang's appraisal skill can definitely increase my luck." Mo Yi rubbed his palms. " What? Aren't you satisfied with your True grade weapon?  Brother Mo, It was forged by your ancestors."

" First of all, it's made of high quality materials. Moreover, with your bloodline, you can use it better than other weapons." Yang Shi explained. 

" I understand, but having more isn't bad right? But then, rather than a weapon, I want to get some secret artifacts or techniques more." Mo Yi said after some thoughts.

" Hmm, But you aren't good with any side professions." Yang Shi hummed. " Does that matter? Just pick a few good things." Mo Yi rebuked. 

" Let's go there. It seems they are selling artifacts and talismans." Yang Shi pointed in a direction as they went there. 

Artifacts are also a type of weapon, but they can't be used directly in a frontal clash like sword and spear. Forging secret artifacts are also much different than forging weapons. Secret artifacts can be more powerful than weapons and their abilities can be mystical.

Yang Shi suddenly remembered that he still had his grade two Invisibility talisman. He never found any good opportunity to use that talisman.

This shop looked more exquisite although it's still a temporary one. It was at least three times larger than normal ones. The name of the shop was carved on a sandalwood board,

" Three Mysteries Shop"

" Eh? This shop... Ah! It's from Dao Instructing Pagoda." Mo Yi suddenly exclaimed. Dao Instructing Pagoda was one of the four great sects of Azure Feather Ancient Kingdom.

" Ahaha! Second Young Master Mo's eyes are sharp as always. This humble one invites you to our shop." A frail looking young man appeared as he greeted Yang Shi and Mo Yi.
