Chapter 227: Planning Next

" Damn it. It seems the bow couldn't handle the power of my primordial spirit." Shen Yanyu cursed in her heart as she fully used her primordial spirit. A humanoid phantom appeared behind her a Yang Shi fully see it.

It was a spirit of a woman, wearing a priestess robe and holding a wooden stick. Her eyes were bright like the moon as her hair was completely green. From her long and pointed ears, Yang Shi saw it as a mature elf.

" Holy Barrier!" The Elf spirit slammed her wooden stick to the ground as a dome or light appeared around Shen Yanyu. 

Yang Shi's saber intent flew as it landed on her shield. The shield trembled violently as cracks spread over it.

Shen Yanyu's spiritual qi boiled as she maintained the shield. Finally, the shield cracked but it managed to stop Yang Shi's attack.

"BOOM"

Shen Yanyu was forced backward as he looked at Yang Shi with wide eyes. Yang Shi still held his saber and looked at Shen Yanyu.  His posture looked majestic as he put back the saber behind his back.

" Good, good!" The Old Ghost laughed as he clapped. " Little Yang has already shown his strength. There is no problem now." He laughed.

" Isn't it is very interesting how you guys are trusting me? I mean, we are nothing but strangers." Yang Shi chuckled as he sat on a stone chair. He calmly gazed at them as he felt it is time for clarification.

" What strangers? Aren't we business partners? We help each other and make profits." Old Ghost said. His gaze was also serene.

" Really? Perhaps there are many things which I don't know. Something like your origins?" Yang Shi smiled. 

" Hehe, Little Yang will know in near future. It's not that we are keeping you in dark, but the time isn't suitable for that." Old Ghost replied with an honest tone.

" Miss Shen, Why you need to go to such extent to use your bow? Now it's damaged." He chuckled as he looked at Shen Yanyu.

" Thi bow? It is already gotten weak for me. Anyway, since you owe us hundreds of spirit stones, You should just forge a True grade bow for me." Shen Yanyu said casually as she threw away the bow.

" Hah, do you think it is easy to forge a True grade artifact? I may be a genius in forging, but that doesn't make me omnipotent." Yang Shi smiled. " Then just return our spirit stones. It is simple as that." Shen Yanyu retorted.

" Fine, I will see." Yang Shi mumbled with a displeased tone. Quasi True grade artifacts are nothing for him, but he never tried making a True grade weapon.

For making a true grade weapon, he needs to learn the basics of rune inscriptions. In spirit grade weapons, one had to draw Spirit diagrams, whereas, in True grade weapons, Spirit diagrams evolve to runes.

The reason True grade artifacts are rare isn't because it's hard to forge. It is rare because after forging, it is hard to inscribe the runes over it. 

One had to do the job of both a Blacksmith and a Runemaster simultaneously to forge a True grade weapon.

Most cultivators can't do both jobs at the same time. A Blacksmith may not have the talent to inscribe runes, same for a Runemaster, whose physical body is frail to forge any weapon. 

So to forge True grade weapon, it is common for both a blacksmith and runemaster to collaborate. While a blacksmith forges the body of the artifact, the runemaster inscribes runes over it.

Of course, some geniuses can do both works by themselves. They are called Treasure Refiners. But Treasure Refiner is a rare occupation for many reasons.

It requires proficiency in both arts of Blacksmithing and Rune Inscription and has powerful control over physical and soul strength.

" I will see it in a few days. Of course, I  can't just jump from Mater grade blacksmith to Grandmaster grade blacksmith in a single night." Yang Shi added.

" As long as you have confidence. And yes, You should come to the Blood Moon Hall. Some missions require your assistance. " Old Ghost said. 

" Really? I don't want to do this job anymore." Yang Shi sighed.

He remembered how he killed Wei Cang and it raised a commotion in Azure Wind City. He already heard the news that the city guards are investigating the matter. 

" Well, Since you have chosen this path, it will be difficult to back away, Since you already killed a dozen of people, a hundred won't matter, right? Moreover, the rewards also increase for the tasks." Old Ghost explained.

" You are our precious Gold Moon assassin, how can we lose you?" He laughed. Yang Shi shook his head as he sighed.

" Since everything is concluded, I should take my leave." Yang Shi said as he turned to leave. He used his Soaring Eagle Immortal Steps as he vanished.

" His strength really grew. Hah, To think he already learned the third movement of Heaven Saber Seven Arts." Old Ghost smiled wryly. " It seems coming to the Southern Province was a right choice."

" Hmph, If it wasn't for the Mysterious Spirit Realm, I would have already ascended to Violet Palace Expansion Realm." Shen Yanyu pouted.

" We have already used this month's allowance. We have to do our best to strengthen the First Prince's faction."

" I am very sure that the item we are searching is in the Mysterious Spirit Realm. I have checked some historical records that the Mysterious Spirit Realm was indeed a part of the ancient Sky Sealing Set."

" Since our progenitor once visited Sky Sealing Sect master, Mysterious Spirit Realm s what we are searching for." Old Ghost nodded.

" I hope I can help elder sister this time." Shen Yanyu muttered.

Yang Shi traveled back to the Mo clan estate. As he was about to enter his room, he saw Bai Ruxue wasn't there.josei

" Eh? Where is she?" Yang Shi became a bit surprised as he went to the courtyard.

" Haah!" Bai Ruxue brandished her sword as she slashed in empty air. Jade green light swirled around the sword as it burst out.

" Spiraling Jade Slash" Bai Ruxue condensed her Jade Yin qi as she made instantaneous slashes.

Again, Her legs moved as she became a flash of green light, Her figure crossed dozen of a meter. Although her movements were very fast, each and every step she took looked graceful like she was sliding over a jade stone.

" Jade Lightning Cut!"

Bai Ruxue waved the sword in her hand. The sword became bright as it flashed like lightning. A rock in front of her was cleanly cut into multiple pieces.

" Still not enough." Bai Ruxue breathed lightly as she felt someone was approaching her from behind.

" Hah!" She bent slightly as she made a backward slash.

Not fast." Bai Ruxue hit nothing as a voice spoke in her side. With a fling, the sword was snatched from her.

" Young master, You are back." Bai Ruxue became surprised.

" You are working hard." Yang Shi wiped her sweat with a cloth.
