"Ahem!" he coughed to hide the tensed look on his face before looking away. Suddenly, he caught something.

"It's moving…" Xin Yan muttered in shock. Elysia followed her gaze and saw that the red threads that were overlapping over one another were pulsing with all the six colors of energies of the affinities.

Red, blue, green, yellow, black, and white all were being sucked from the crystals placed right under the cocoon and moved towards the center of the shell.

Now that the moment they had been waiting for a long time arrived, Xin Yan and Elysia immediately got up from the roof.

In the process of getting up, Elysia stumbled a little before she stabilized herself in the middle of the air and kept on floating. She noticed Xin Yan looking at her from the corner of her eyes, so she acted like nothing happened and turned to look at the towering seals in front of them.

"This might catch some unwanted attention…" Wuhan commented as he watched the rate of energy absorption increase exponentially. "This is more than twice what Xin Yan needed."

His amazement did not end there. Right after that, he saw Elysia waving her hand, and a huge pile of spirit stone clusters of high quality appeared out of thin air before shooting in the direction of the cocoon.

He watched with his mouth wide open as before the clusters could even get near to the casing of the red threads, they shattered and crumbled away into small dust particles before being absorbed by the seal below it.

"This is it…" Xin Yan's eyes trembled in anticipation as she watched the whole process taking place with all of her attention.

"Will he be able to keep his cultivation, or will he have to start cultivating all over again? You did say his cultivation would be a little different from the rest." With a curious look on his face, Wuhan looked at Xin Yan. But her mind was so much focused on Noah's safety that she did not even hear his words.

Wuhan did not say anything else seeing the tense look on their faces. He could only imagine how nerve-wracking this whole process was for them. To watch someone you love dangling at the gates of life and death, no matter how much Noah thought through the plan.

They watched as the broken cauldron made its way down towards the cocoon and phased through the shell, followed by the furnace and the pagoda.

As the Qi from the spirit stones kept on getting consumed, Elysia kept on replacing them with new ones, not letting the process be interrupted by a lack of energy.

Suddenly, the surface of the red shell started to pulse with a golden light which started to turn dark with each passing second.

The question Wuhan had been curious about was answered the next moment when he sensed the aura inside the cocoon rising rapidly. But at the same time, he noticed something else as well.

'Why can't I sense his exact cultivation?' As the blonde-haired man thought that, he sensed his aura changing once again.
