Chapter 218 Father...
Chapter 218 Father...
Before Zack's body could hit the ground, it was caught by Lance.
"His body is burning up…" Lance muttered as he sensed Zack's temperature going very high. He had a feeling that the aftereffects Zack had mentioned were indeed going to be very dangerous.
"What exactly happens after you use the ninth form?" Emma asked slowly as she placed her right hand on top of Zack's forehead. She could sense his temperature going even higher as she gave Lance a concerned look.
"It usually includes passing out for a few days at the minimum or even entering a comma or dying at the maximum. I guess it will soon be clear what is about to happen to…" Zack voice suddenly trailed off as his eyes rolled to the back of his head.
His consciousness was no longer there even though his body was alive.
Emma and Lance could only look at his body with a grim expression as they knew that he had plunged into unconsciousness. But now the question was whether it was a few days one or a long time coma…

? "Ugh, did I drink too much last night. I shouldn't have listened to Eva when she had said that it would only be a small bottle…" Zack muttered while slowly rubbing the back of his head.
His eyes were closed yet he could tell that the moment he would open them up, he would see the world through a dizzy eyed gaze.
'Wait…' Suddenly, Zack felt a weird tingling sensation pass through his body. He slowly remembered that he didn't drink yet the thought of drinking had automatically entered his mind when he had felt the pain.
Zack immediately opened his eyes to see himself lying in a completely blank space. He was surrounded by huge sleek black walls on all four sides but even those seemed kilometers away.
His surroundings offered him nothing and if not for his vision, Zack was sure that he wouldn't even be able to see the things he was seeing currently.
'I have been here before…' Suddenly a distant memory entered Zack's mind as he remembered the time when he and Emma had entered the Vibranium guild for the first time.
There had been two rooms marked as the resting places of the 'heir of Pendragon' and the 'heir of hunt'. Zack hadn't known about the name of the room Emma had visited but after some time, they had been able to communicate such things with each other.
'I cleared this room with that huge flame storm back then…' Zack vividly remembered the feeling of holding Eirias in his hand and destroying all that black matter inside the room.
Zack immediately turned back as his gaze landed on the coffin he had seen last time.
It looked exactly the same as he had remembered and its lid was wide open as though someone was soon about to buried inside it.
'I am missing some information. This coffin… What connection could it possibly have with me?' Zack brainstormed hard but didn't find any connection with the coffin.
Well, any other connection except the fact that it was named as the 'Coffin of the Heir of Arthur Pendragon'.
Zack knew that it could mean two things but he wasn't quick at making any assumptions. The way the things had been going, there was no knowing what role the coffin might play in the future.
Zack instead started searching for an exit out of the room. He stepped towards the place which he remembered to be the exit but after walking for a few minutes, he realized that something was wrong.
'I am sure the door should be here…' Zack thought as he looked back to see that he had left the coffin far behind.
But despite that, the distance in front of him didn't seem to be decreasing, making him suspicious that something was going on.
Zack didn't know whether he did it on instinct or if something was calling out to him but he suddenly took out Eirias.
The crystal sword radiated a glow that seemed to brighten up the entire room, turning all that was black into a mixture of vibrant colors.
'This…' Zack's eyes suddenly got misty as he realized the place he was standing in.
The walls had turned into a mixture of gold and red while the empty space had been filled with numerous, each one looking recently plucked.
In the center of the flowers was a coffin, one much simpler than the one Zack had seen back in the black room.
Except this time, he had a direct connection to the coffin. A connection that was heart breaking for him.
"Deep breath… deep breath…" Zack muttered over and over again as he tried to calm himself down.
While repeating the mantra and taking a few deep breaths, Zack slowly moved towards the coffin placed in the center of the place.
He avoided the flowers placed around him while continuing to take deep breaths. Zack soon reached the coffin as he bent down to touch it with his right hand.
"Father…" Zack murmured as he stared up at the ceiling with misty eyes. "Kai, I know you can hear me. Come here and tell me, how many times have I repeated the entire thing?"
Zack waited for a few minutes but no reply came. He clenched his right hand into a fist while taking a deep breath.
However, Zack had been holding on for too long and the coffin had been the last straw. He bent down on the ground and punched it tightly right beside the coffin.
A three meter wide hole was created by his hand yet Zack's hand looked completely fine. Zack then lifted his hand off the ground and stared at the coffin once again.
"Darkness cannot drive aways darkness, only light can…" Zack muttered as he remembered the words his father had told him shortly before his death.
Zack's father had hoped that his son wouldn't try to take revenge of his death but he had hoped in vain.
Zack had gone ahead and tried to take revenge for his father's death and after all that, he was standing in front of the same coffin he had seen his father's body being placed into.
"You never expected that you would ever return to this place, did you?" A voice suddenly entered Zack's ears as he looked around in surprise.
His first guess would have been Kai if not for the fact that the voice sounded different. It sounded too similar to his own voice.
"I guess you must have forgotten about this otherwise you wouldn't look this surprised." The voice said again and this time, Zack heard it clearly.
"It's my own voice…"
