At this rate of new chapters being released every 3 or 4 days, I would bet on the return of releases next year. Honestly, it's not that surprising. The webnovel was a lot of fun, but the vampire stuff shortly before it was stopped ruined it for me, and probably many others. I think the author expected people to think it was a badass reveal, where in reality it just felt cringe and unnecessary.
