Chapter 168 - Albion's True Calling
Chapter 168 - Albion's True Calling
On the rooftop of a 30-floor building across the road from Eastern Allure Auction House, Mr. Reiner and several thugs with heavy tattoos gathered in pairs as they brought weapon crates one after another.
"Tonight, many top families will be gathered in one place for the Abestel family's auction event. This presents our gang with a golden opportunity to reclaim the sovereignty of this city," Mr. Reiner stated.
"It was not easy to gather this many explosives and firearms from Stillwater city. Are we really doing this, Mr. Reiner?"
"Even with this many explosives and firearms, it will not be easy to take out so many top families with powerful Hunters at once."
"Right, to be honest, this feels like a suicide mission."
The men began voicing their doubts one after the other.
While the Bloodmoon Gang was the most powerful gang within a 100km radius, that was before the Dimensional Rift appeared.
Now that powerful families have moved in from other cities and regions, it was no longer the case.
"What do you have to fear? The Bear King and Leopard King are also with us. Once we attack simultaneously, even if it is one of the Emperor Hunters themselves, they will be hard-pressed to survive the crushing weight of over 100-thousand tonnes."
Mr. Reiner kicked open a weapon crate, revealing several explosive rocket ammunition before he kicked open another one and revealed the rocket launchers within.
"Remember the target points. This is a high-level operation that does not allow for the failure of misaim. We must collapse Eastern Allure Hotel onto the auction house at the scheduled time," Mr. Reiner stated.
The tatted thugs all wore solemn looks once the plan was mentioned.
"Once we will level the entire Eastern Allure Hotel down, the world government will surely not stay silent to our act of terrorism. If we are caught, the chances of heavy interrogation and torture are high," a thug spoke gravely.
"That is why; don't get caught," Mr. Reiner smirked coldly.
"The Otaku Terrorists' movements are mostly found in the northeastern region of the Asian continent. But with the appearance of a Dimensional Rift here in the southeastern region, it would not be strange if they become interested and move down."
"Perhaps, they have already arrived in Silvercove city but have been laying low due to the watchful eyes of the world government. However, if everything goes according to plan, the blame will be pinned on them, the Otaku Terrorists."
If the Otaku Terrorists knew of the Bloodmoon gang's wicked scheme, they would surely want to spit blood in anger.
Sometime later, the preparations on Mr. Reiner's side were completed before he took out his phone and sent the message.
[Reiner's side is ready.]
[Bear King's side ready.]
[Leopard King's side ready.]
Once the other two sides also sent their messages to Boss Benedict shortly after Reiner's message, they promptly received a reply from the boss.
[Wait.]
Mr. Reiner checked the message and nodded.
Since they were making a big move, they had to make sure all the fishes arrived at the venue before they catch them all in one fell swoop.
"The boss has spoken. Now we wait."
"I wonder who had not turned up yet…"
The thugs wondered.
…

'The Bloodmoon gang? I was wondering when these guys were going make a move again, but it seems that I am their target this time…'
Albion silently mused.
'Those explosives, though…' Albion frowned.
He glanced over to Little Wuxin and Little Sally on his side before they felt his glance and gave an innocent smile back, unaware of what was going to unfold.
'I can still protect them from the explosion, but if the tall adjacent skyscraper collapses on the auction house, I won't be able to guarantee their safety.'
After pondering silently for a moment, Albion smacked his own head in sudden realization.
'Sh*t, I am an idiot. If I do nothing and just watch like a bystander, there won't be anything to watch. How can there be a show if everyone dies at once?'
Albion thought speechlessly.
To watch a good show, he must first help the ignorant auction participants become aware of the looming danger surrounding them.
Suddenly, it was as if Albion was enlightened.
"Perhaps, I have found my true calling in life. I didn't know I was the stick, but I am destined to become the stick," Albion muttered with a sigh.
"Boss, what does it mean to become the stick?" Little Wuxin asked.
"The stick is the stick that stirs the pot. In other words, it means to become a shit-stirrer," Albion explained.
"I still don't understand."
Little Wuxin and Little Sally tilted their heads in confusion. The term 'shit stirrer' was unfamiliar to them.
"A shit-stirrer is…"
Albion tried to explain before he sighed.
"Haiz, have you ever found a nicely formed piece of dog poop on the side of the road and just wanted to mess it up but not want to touch it with your bare hands at the same time? That's what a shit-stirrer is."
"Oh, ooh! I know! Shit-stirring is so fun!"
"Yeah!" Little Sally chimed.
The little girls took the explanation in its literal sense.
At the same time, it was clear that they had stirred shit with a stick before and even find great entertainment in doing so.
"Boss also likes to stir shit?"
"We also want to stir shit too!"
Albion's lips twitched slightly after listening to the two little girls repeatedly use the word 'shit' as if they just learned the word.
'Seems like I am a bad influence for the kids…but, who cares anyway?' Albion smiled wryly before shrugged it off casually.
"You will both get plenty of chances to stir shit in the future."
"Yay!"
The little girls cheered.
'Perhaps, one day, they will become a menace for everyone in the world, stirring trouble everywhere they go.'
Albion thought with amusement.
'But for now…' Shortly after, he shook his head and decided, 'I need to prepare some insurance for them.'
