Chapter 200 - Motion Sickness
Chapter 200 - Motion Sickness
Back in the vicinity of Eastern Allure Auction House, Estelle Xiao brought Wuxin and Sally back to her 'borrowed' car and tucked them into their seats with Armin and Shuren.
Armin and Shuren were relieved to see that their two little sisters appeared to be okay.
However, before they could ask how they were, their eyes widened at the sight of the two girls' pretty dresses made of expensive fabric.
"Woah! Sally, Wuxin! Where did you get such nice clothes? It must have been really expensive, right?!" Chang Shuren exclaimed.
Estelle Xiao immediately paused after hopping into her driver's seat before turning to Sally sitting in the passenger seat beside her.
"This brand is… Aeon?!" Estelle Xiao also exclaimed with a startling look before asking, "Who bought your dresses, Sally? It wasn't that bad person before, was it?"
"Yeah! Boss was very nice to Wuxin and Sally!" Sally answered.
"Mm, mm! Not only did Boss buy us nice clothes, but he also bought us nice food to eat and took us to play!" Wuxin added cheerily.
"Why do you call him Boss?" Estelle Xiao frowned with worry before further asking, "And what kind of games could you even play around here? Don't you know this place is very dangerous right now?! And your dresses… Did he change it for you?!"
"Eh? Big Sister is asking strange questions. The big sister at the store helped us," Sally replied before saying, "Boss is Boss because Boss bought us from the bad people and said we are Boss's people now."
"Mm, mm! There was no danger because Boss is very strong! Wuxin felt safe by Boss's side, and also fun! Wuxin threw lots of rocks!" Wuxin stated with enthusiasm.
They rarely ever did anything so exciting back at the orphanage, and it was a whole new experience for them.
When Estelle Xiao heard their words, her expression darkened for a moment before she turned her head to face Wuxin in the back middle seat.
"Hahaha, you were throwing rocks, were you?"
"Yeah! It was very fun throwing rocks with Boss!" Wuxin admitted innocently.
"Oh, so it was fun…" Estelle Xiao uttered before she smiled with a twitching eye while pointing to the hood of the car, "But don't you know there's a price for having fun?"
She cracked her knuckles shortly after.
"Oh no! Big Sister Estelle is angry!"
Wuxin quickly realized she was in deep shit.
However, Estelle Xiao did not punish her for damaging the police car with a rock. Instead, she blamed the person who influenced Wuxin into throwing the rocks.
Shortly after, Estelle Xiao shook her head with a sigh and said, "In the future, you two should stay away from that person. He is very dangerous."
"Ehhh~? But Wuxin wants to hang out with Boss more!" Wuxin complained before she defended Albion, "Boss is not dangerous. He is just a very bad person!"
Estelle Xiao was immediately confused.
"Since you know is he a very bad person, why do you still defend him?" Estelle Xiao asked with a puzzled look.
"Wuxin doesn't think Boss is a very bad person. Wuxin only says that because Boss said that he was a very bad person himself. However, Wuxin has only seen Boss punishing bad people. Boss was very good to Sally and Wuxin," she said.
Sally studied Estelle Xiao's perplexed expression before she mentioned, "It seems like Big Sister Estelle has some preju-judice against Boss?"
"It's prejudice, and of course, I do!" Estelle Xiao admitted straightforwardly.
Why wouldn't she?
"In all the instances that I bumped into that person, there had always been one of two things present; destruction or death," Estelle Xiao stated seriously.
Shortly after, she looked at each girl solemnly and said, "I'm telling you two to stay away from this person because I don't want you two to get hurt, understand?"
"Yes, Big Sister Estelle."
"Yes, Big Sister Estelle."
Wuxin and Sally replied obediently.
Nevertheless, they would still hang out with Boss if they were given the opportunity. They could not stop thinking about where Boss would take them to eat or play next time.
Estelle Xiao started the engine.
Shortly after, she began driving back to Sunflower Orphanage in the south suburban district. However, she could not stop thinking about Albion.
'A bad person that does good deeds?' Estelle Xiao furrowed her brows thoughtfully.
After pondering for some time, she still failed to understand what kind of person Albion was in the end.
…
Meanwhile, in the central district, Albion arrived with the two wolf-girls and quickly spotted spacecraft parked beside the Hunter Association Branch Building on the side of the road.
It seemed to have been moved from the road, seeing that workers were doing their best to fix the road quickly to ease congestion.
"So, this black thing is supposed to fly and take us back to the Glacia continent, Master?"
Fenriri inquired curiously as she observed the spaceship's complex interior after the three of them boarded the spacecraft together promptly.
"Yeah, it's called a spaceship."
Albion stood in the place of the missing primary control seat and began punching in a bunch of keys that seemed incomprehensible to Fenriri and Fenrira.
Simply looking at all the buttons and keys on the control panel made Fenrira's head spin with a headache.
Nevertheless, a map appeared on-screen, and a route was set for the Glacia continent with auto-pilot activated.
Rumble…
The spaceship's engine soon burst into life.
And before long, the spacecraft was launched into the skies and flew at high speeds, disappearing from the vicinity of Silvercove city in a matter of seconds.
"Bleurgh!"
Fenriri and Fenrira grabbed onto random sturdy objects for support and began yakking with sickly looks.
"Master, make it stop… Bleurgh… Help me…"
"Fenriri does not feel so good… Bleurgh…"
The two wolf-girls pleaded.
"Unexpectedly, the two of you have motion sickness, huh?" Albion muttered wryly while looking at their pitiful states.
Nevertheless, he shook his head and said with a firm look, "Sorry, girls. You two will just have to bear with it. It won't take long to reach the Glacia continent."
However, the screen displayed an estimated time of 36 minutes before arrival at the Glacia continent—and this was only to reach its borders.
No specific destination was set.
"Yeah… it won't take long… It'll be over in a jiffy," Albion lied to them with a straight face.
"Anyway, you two don't happen to know which specific parts of the Glacia continent your tribe is located, do you?"
