Chapter 201 - No Pain, No Gain
Chapter 201 - No Pain, No Gain
Fenriri and Fenrira were unable to respond.
The severe motion sickness left them incapacitated within moments with froth in their mouths as they laid on the floor like dead logs.
"I didn't expect it would be this bad…" Albion muttered wryly.
Looking at the wolf-girls' pitiful states, a lightbulb lit up in his head before he strolled over and wiped their mouths with a summoned towel from the Ashura Ring.
Shortly after, he sat them up before channeling innate energy into their back to soothe their ailments like sending firewood in snowy winter.
'Although innate energy is incomparable to spiritual energy, it still has its uses in regulating the body,' Albion mused.
But of course, anything innate energy can do, spiritual energy can do better. Not to mention spiritual energy had a much wider degree of usage—to the point of being magical.
Within moments, the wolf-girls' complexions quickly recovered a lively color.
"Master, Fenriri doesn't feel sick anymore."
"Fenrira, too, doesn't feel sick anymore."
The wolf-girls soon recovered enough to speak.
However, their expressions quickly turned a sickly green look as soon as Albion stopped regulating their bodies with innate energy.
As such, he resumed circulating his innate energy in their bodies.
"Master, what kind of power is this? It doesn't seem as strong as Life Aura, but it feels more useful than Life Aura. Fenriri feels so warm and comfortable," Fenriri stated.
"It's called innate energy, but you are wrong," Albion shook his head and said, "It's not more useful than Life Aura, or what I like to call spiritual energy. Spiritual energy is naturally stronger and has much broader utility."
"Remember the circulation route and use your own Life Aura to regulate your body according to it," Albion instructed shortly after.
"Understood, Master. Fenriri will try it."
However, after Albion removed his hand from her back, Fenriri attempted to circulate her Life Aura as per the instruction and nearly incapacitated herself instantly.
"Master, I don't think this method works with Life Aura," Fenrira said with some difficulty following the instruction shortly after her little sister.
Albion furrowed his brows for a moment.
Logically, there should not be any problem since innate energy was working fine on their bodies. As such, it should not be a problem of different physique due to their races.
Then the problem lies in their Life Aura?
As Albion arrived at this thought and studied the Life Aura in the wolf-girls' bodies, he immediately understood the reason.
"I see," Albion nodded with understanding and said, "Your Life Aura is a bit different from normal spiritual energy. It has already been infused with frigid attributes, so the same method will not work."
"Does that mean we won't be able to conquer this motion sickness?" Fenriri asked with a lethargic look.
"Yes, it seems that all modes of high-speed transportation will be your bane," Albion chuckled slightly before saying, "If you want to overcome it, you will just have to endure it repeatedly for the body to adapt to it."
"Doesn't that mean that we will have to suffer each time we fly with Master?" Fenrira asked with a paled look.
Just the very thought of it made her feel queasy.
"Sorry, girls. There's no easy way out of this one," Albion chuckled and said, "You know what they say; no gain, no pain."
"Noo…."
Fenriri and Fenrira felt despair.
Nevertheless, Albion ignored their plight and said, "Anyway, do you remember where your tribe was located? I do not like to ask twice."
"Noo…. Fenriri is not that familiar with this world yet."
"Fenrira is not familiar either."
The two wolf-girls' responses were as Albion expected. It was not like they were given GPS equipment upon arriving in the world.
"Hm, I didn't think so either," Albion muttered.
"Sorry, Master." Fenriri lowered her head for being unable to satisfy Albion's questions.
"Don't worry about it," Albion gave Fenriri a quick head rub before continuing to channel innate energy and said, "It's not like I am without a solution."
"Googl—Oops. I mean, IKE always has the answers."
Such a big event like the Glacia continent being invaded and lost to demihumans would not go unnoticed.
Albion pulled out his phone with Empyrean's Decree and opened up the IKE browser before inputting a few keywords into the search bar.

"Sure enough, it's all over the news," Albion muttered before he nodded, "But it's to be expected. These days, each city has its own source of trouble to deal with it."
It was not strange that even if news of the Glacia continent reached the headlines in Silvercove city, it failed to become the main topic of attention.
After all, the Glacia continent was so far away while the Second Wave's Dimensional Rift was right beside their shores.
"Seems like Stronghold 1-6 is where the Iceborn Wolf Tribe is situated."
Albion nodded.
Shortly after, he left Fenriri and Fenrira's side to redirect the flight route to the new destination; Stronghold 01.
"Ahh, Master, don't leave us! Help-puh me—!"
"Noo, not this nauseous feeling again! Ughh…."
The wolf-girls cried at the same time after being struck by the wave of nausea before their heads spun with dizziness and slumped on the floor once more.
"Endure it," Albion simply stated.
"Uuuu…."
The wolf-girls whimpered weakly.
Nevertheless, Albion ignored them and glanced at the estimated arrival before he muttered, "About 25 minutes, huh? Guess I'll use this bit of time to cultivate."
Sitting cross-legged on the floor beside the two wolf-girls, Albion closed his eyes and entered silent meditation in preparation for practicing the Ashura Empyrean Arts.
However, he quickly felt soft tugs on his legs.
"Master… Help…."
"Help-puh me...."
