I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 179

Chapter 179: In APRIL's Time

Hope and Connor were running after Polschk who was with Viper, Florencia, Christina, and Dustin. After the man took his butterflies, placing them in a cage made with vines, they ran out of the garden.

They thought that everyone in Elliot's party was going to engage in battle with the Trinity Grail, so they ran out of there as fast as they could.

"We're almost at the exit," the old man said. "Let's go."

"Mr. Polschk!" the man in the counter yelled. "I heard the noises, sir, are you okay? I just got here and there was an explosion. Sir, are the butterflies okay?"

"I am fine, Braun. And so are my babies," Polschk said. He could barely run and he even forced himself to cary the cage of the butterflies. He said that he was the only one the butteflies are used to, they'd be heavily under stress once they sense another person with them.

"Let us escape, sir," Braun said. "I will take you to your mansion."

"Okay," Polschk replied. "Come on everyone. Let's go."

The surprise in Braun's eyes were evident. He tried to not let the children come along but Polschk insisted.

"But sit, we barely know them," Braun said. "They could be part of the Trinity Grail, maybe get caught in their arrows. Let's go sir."

Polschk could feel himself pale after what Braun said. He walked a few steps back, staring at the man who now had a confused look in his face.

"Is everything alright, sir?" Braun asked.

"W-Why do you know what their group is called?" Polschk asked. "I never even mentioned anything about the intruders."

Braun suddenly grinned with now a different expression plastered on his face. His eyes screamed death and he had a thick killing intent clouding over him.

"You're sharp even for your age, old man," Braun said, his teeth gritting in excitement. "No wonder the Royal Family used up all your brain juiced before letting you retire. It's such a waste."

"Braun? What are you talking about?" Polschk gulped. He tried to use his other hand to feel the others but felt no one there. Taking another step back, he almost fell down when his feet caught something. He turned and gasp after seeing that everyone else was knocked out.

"The Twilight Wings needs a new caretaker, old man," Braun said, raising his hand and turning his fingers green that turned into a flower. "I can take better care of them than you."

"You will never have them," Polschk said. "I won't let you."

"Oh, you will." Braun reached his hand for the man, morphing them into wood that extended towards the man. "Or rather, I will make you."

"Infernal Ring of Fire!"

A spinning ring made of flames was shooting itself to Braun. The man leaped back, avoiding the feiry attack, letting his wooden hands burn as he ejected them.

"Who the hell is interfering with my business?!" Braun yelled. "You have no say in this. This is a matter of–"

"Oh, shut up," Hope said, walking out of a corner with Connor beside him. "Why do you evil people talk too much?"

Braun grunted, raising his hands in the air and forming thick flowery vines with them. "Then let's not talk much, eh?"

"You sure about that?" Connor smirked, conjuring a flaming ball with his staff. "Becaus the last time I heard, you're no match agaisnt this."

"Let's just see," Braun grinned and whipped his vine arms into Connor. The blonde boy raised his staff and shot a ball of flames, only for the fire to be extinguished as it hit the vines.

"Oh, what now?" Connor gasped, slashing his sword to cut the vines instead. Hope took care of the other one, hacking his sword in the middle to part it and dash towards Braun.

"How did he do it?" Connor asked out loud. "It was almost like my flames were nothing."

"That was a river vine," Polschk said. "The river vine is covered with a thick layer of water mucus, a liquid that doesn't burn. That's why flame attacks would be useless against it."

"Oh, really now?" Connor smirked. "These past few weaks, I saw our guild master train against someone who wields water. The opponent could literally dry up a lake by pulling the water out, or divide a large flowing river. That's how powerful he is."

"Oh, that guy," Hope chuckled. "The man is a lord too, that's probably why his blood is extremely strong."

"And?" Braun asked. "What's the point in telling me this?"

"Well, you see. What my guild master was…" Connor trailed off. His skin slowly burning and his flesh turning into a lava texture. "Is overpower him. True Form: Morph of the Infernal Ruler."

"Wow," Hope chuckled, now my turn. "True Form: Morph of the Supreme Dragon Emperor."

Braun, even Polschk, had to take a few steps back as the two changed forms. Sounds of bones cracking, skin tearing and a lot of teeth clashing echoed the area.

The two boys changed forms in a matter of seconds but felt like an eternity for their enemy. Braun's vine arms now limp in fear as he watched the two take on another forms. The aura coming out from them were choking him too, making it impossible for him to move.

It was like he was trapped in frozen time. His ego, trampled by just a matter of a few seconds.

"W-What are you?" Braun asked, falling onto his butt. His body was trembling and his eyes looked like they were ready to come out of their sockets. He could only shake as he watched the two walk closer.

"We're members of Azure Scor ch Guild," Connor said. "So don't mess with us!"

"They're almost awakened," a cloaked man whispered to another man as the latter stood by the window of a castle tower. The cloaked person was standing beside the window, on a small brick stepping stone.

The man he was reporting to was overlooking the darkness of their realm, sipping his wine as he took a sigh of relief and worry. His mana was dark, being the strongest among Hell's Vassals, but he has other plans in his mind.

Ones that's not leaning with his Queen's plans.

"All of them?" Bruno asked, taking another sip. "I hope they awaken soon."josei

"No, sir. The Prophesized boy seems to awaken slower than the rest," the cloaked man said. "I worry that he might not reach the form before the Great Brawl."

"He will," Bruno replied. "And soon, his legacy will reign supreme, freeing us all from this madness. What about Heaven? Are they making a move?"

"Apart from their Fallen Angel, my scouts hasn't seen any move from Heaven," the man replied. "I will still look into the other realms. They might be starting their propaganda there."

"Okay, good," Bruno sighed in relief, placing his glass of wine in a table beside the window. "We cannot trust anyone yet. Even when we share the same goals with Heaven, they're not our allies. They have an innate urge to kill demons."

"They almost did it once after all," Void walked in the room. "We can never be too trusting with them. Jason, thank you for your reports as always."

"In APRIL's orders," Jason, the cloaked man outside the window, said before leaping. He disappeared midair, turning into shadows and continued scouting like he was ordered to do.

"Will we achieve peace, soon, brother?" Bruno asked.

Void shushed the younger boy, smiling at him, "In APRIL's time."
