Chapter 149: Emonius Triade
Chapter 149: Emonius Triade
...….
"So, 100 Azura's for the information contained in this poster and 200 Azura's for the damage done to your forehead…?"
Azmodeus voiced his question just to be sure that he was hearing the ludicrous prices being declared by the curmudgeon old man.
"Yes! That's my final offer! And if you don't want to accept, then you can leave my shop right away!"
The store owner was most definitely grumpy over the fact that the little troublemaker was still taunting him from behind the mahogany desk. Mind you, it was a desk that she wasn't even tall enough to see over.
300 Azura's is enough to feed a commoner family for three months… This old man is truly asking for an arm and a leg…
But in the end, I still need the information, and with the money I grabbed from that Dimsinion Church, along with what I relinquished from the bandits I met over the past few days, I should be able to easily cover such a sum of doubloons…
After contemplating the matter for a few moments, Azmodeus ultimately ended up bleeding from his heart as he handed over all the money that the old man wanted.
*Jingle! Jingle!*
The old man violently shook around the bag of Azura's as he nodded his head in approval before telling the rude guests what he knew about the one who stuck up the posters outside his shop.
-
"The Magician's guild… There's really a Magician's guild that doesn't use magic and instead concocts potions so they can beef up…"
Azmodeus couldn't believe what he was hearing, for if this were true, a certain muscle man in a world of magician's would be proud of what his image had produced.
Even so, he swiftly snapped out of his thoughts, bid farewell to the cranky store owner, and walked out the doors of the shop with his feisty black cat-like girl. She was still trying to pick a fight with the old man, so they had to vacate without looking back…
Speaking of black cats, the ones inside of Fallen Immortal Mountain are doing quite well in their cultivation sessions. Although the time difference between there and here is massive, I'm slowly but surely reducing that number.
Even though it would be easier to simply take them out into this world and be done with it, my stealth-related Traits are not yet at a high enough level to conceal existences that aren't directly connected to me. One such case would be my Primordial Essence Clones and Mirror Mirage's, all of whom are able to grind points without worrying about the sight of the Ten Astral Principality Princes.
But, at the rate I am progressing in the Physical Existence Refinement Aspect, I should be at a sufficient rank to forcefully conceal their existences soon enough.
In the end, all Azmodeus needed was time, and he would be able to solve every single one of his problems.
And luckily for him, all he had was time…
...
Nearly half an hour faded away from the Astral Plane's timeline as Azmodeus, Pan Nu, and Pumpkin Wolfy made their way up an extremely large mountain that stretched outwards for thousands of miles in every direction.
And though that might not seem like much when compared to the enormous structures that were present in Prometheus, the Astral Plane was of much higher quality.
It was to the extent that a single atom of this mountain was worth countless times more energy than what an entire universe of space possessed on Prometheus!
That went to show just how high something evolved when having completely transcended a lower-level Cosmic Construct, such as a Two Layered Infinity Construct trumping over a Single Layered Infinity Construct.
All of that was said so one could better understand the grandiosity of the 'Psyon Mountain', which was where most Potion Master's within tens of thousands of miles came to apply.
Or rather, it was where Potion Master's traversed in order to apply to the elusive Potion Master organization called the 'Emonius Triade'.
And it just so happened to be the location that the old shop owner informed Azmodeus about.
Speaking of the man in question, he was currently looking up a multitude of ominous towers and buildings that surrounded a very large center building. All of which were dark black in color and adorned with a plethora of hanging vines and weeds.
Considering how many people were going in and out of this place, it was highly likely that the untrimmed weeds were put there intentionally.
Azmodeus realized this interesting decoration design as well, but there was something else that he was far more amazed by…
"It's a lot larger than I thought it would be…"
His slightly awed voice resounded, as he wasn't unfamiliar with large things, but rather, he was surprised over the fact that the few small cities in the vicinity were able to house such a place of clear renown.
It was this query that brought up a few red flags in his mind. But regardless of his instinctively cautious nature, he still decided to walk up to the huge, black metal gates that had the letters 'E' and 'T' engraved onto the overhead in a cursive font.
"You don't think this place is haunted, do you, Azmodeus…?"
Pan Nu voiced her question while in her 'spot', for she got up to her vantage location as soon as she felt the creepy aura permeating the atmosphere of the Emonius Triade.
To be completely candid, if it were up to her, then she would've long since left Azmodeus and found herself a nice sweet's shop to munch at.
But unfortunately for her, the one with all the money just so happened to be the one always wanting to go into the creepiest of places…
"If you do bear through it, then I promise that we can go buy any sweets that you want afterwards."
Azmodeus's honey-covered words dripped into the ears of the distraught girl as they immediately perked up.
"Say less next time, you big dummy!"
Pan Nu's vivaciousness seemed to come back in full force as she shook his shoulders, clearly urging him to hurry the hell up!
