Chapter 160: Years Later, A Birthday Party
Chapter 160: Years Later, A Birthday Party
...…
1 year passed by within the blink of an eye, and as many things were changing within the Emonius Triade, a crimson-eyed man comprehended the complexities of every single profession he knew of.
When the Exchange Gathering ended at the 3 month mark, Azmodeus had already achieved the Middle-Bronze Rank in Potion Mastery.
And when an entire half a year had flown past everyone inside the Astral Plane, his Potion Master Rank had long since passed the Late-Bronze Rank, edging ever closer to the Peak-Bronze Rank.
On a side note, during this past year, he had many visitors, of which included Chi Wu, who came to him under the pretense of 'Passing on some knowledge'. However, upon seeing how far he had advanced in his Potion Mastery, she understood just how unnecessary her presence was…
After all, even for her, who was considered a genius in her heyday, it took nearly 20 years in order to reach the Late-Bronze Rank, and yet this devilishly handsome man had achieved the same feat in a twentieth of the time!
Chi Wu was baffled, to say the least, but after being exposed to his nonsensical actions for the last year, she couldn't even allow herself to be surprised anymore…
Even so, Azmodeus's tutor was just one of many visitors that came by over the last year. As for the others, there were a few of the staff that visited from the main building of the Emonius Triade, along with the Vice Headmaster, who was the highest-ranked member of the organization still on the premises.
This definitely raised some red flags for the man who tried his best to stay under the radar. But in the end, Chi Wu had convinced Azmodeus that the Vice Headmaster was trustworthy, so he went along with garnering 'friendly relations' with the extremely scarce members of the Emonius Triade.
On that note, from what he had gathered from the information told to him by Chi Wu and the others, he had learned that the total number of people in the enormous Emonius Triade Grounds was a mere 1500…
Furthermore, of those 1500, only 200 were above the Bronze Rank, mixed up inside the Silver Rank, while there were less than a handful inside the Gold Rank.
This Rank approximation also just so happened to correlate with the Ranks of their Physical Existences as well. Which was all to say that not only the auxiliary aspects but also the fighting aspects were severely limited inside the Emonius Triade…
Of course, it wasn't always this way, but after the changing of many Headmasters, Vice Masters, and students over the last hundred thousand years, the once mighty organization—spanning not only the Azura Kingdom but also a good chunk of the MountainGod Empire—was reduced to less than a third-rate faction.
All of their high-ranking Gold and Diamond Potion Masters had abandoned them, and their allies were annexing more and more of their territory with every passing day, exhibiting the highest levels of usurpation.
To be honest, the remaining loyal members of the Emonius Triade wished they could simply fly up into the sky and get away from it all. But upon remembering that they didn't have any Qi inside their bodies, that dream was dashed away in an instant.
All because of Qi… Because they didn't have access to large amounts of Spiritual Stones…
That was the reason for their downfall… But it would also be the reason that led the being who would bring salvation right to their doorsteps…
...
Time passed by like a dream, swift and unimpeded in its never-ending path forward, as 7 years flew by without anybody knowing the better.
It was on this day that Pan Nu, Azmodeus's second disciple, officially turned 18. And to celebrate the day of her birth, he decided to bring the cheeky girl to her favorite cake shop in A-Block. Which also just so happened to be the same one where they had their first real conversation with Chi Wu all those years ago.
Speaking of the Crimson Witch, she, along with Yang Hua, Nao Long, You Mie, Li Na, Bing Nu Shen, and Rou Tian, had come to the cake shop where Azmodeus and Pan Nu were waiting.
Every single one of them wore spotted pointy hats with loose confetti straps tied around their necks. With such an appearence, they all had varying expressions upon seeing the girl who had grown up in what felt like a single night.
They remember the day over 5 years ago, when they were able to come out of Fallen Immortal Mountain and see everything that had changed over the last decade.
Even though less than a month had passed for them inside Fallen Immortal Mountain, they were aware of how long had gone by in the outside world...
All of the girls feared that the man they loved had changed over the years, but surprisingly, he appeared exactly the same as he did when they met him in Prometheus.
This came as a pleasant surprise for the ladies of the Heaven Exploding Cave Abode, but along with that surprise came another one—in the form of a 14 year-old girl…
Although the possessive yandere's were put on edge in the beginning, after interacting with the intelligent girl—coming from a tragic past—they quickly got along with her. And with that bonding came the happy expressions that everyone wore upon viewing the misty-eyed woman officially becoming a full-fledged woman.
"Even though you're an adult now, I bet you're still as annoying as you were before!" Nao Long spoke with a light grumble as she pouted while swinging that unruly tail of hers behind her voluptuous figure.
"You're still upset that I beat you in chess the other day?" Pan Nu asked with a mature feminine pitch to her voice as she disappointedly shook her head.
"Y-You didn't beat me, you idiot! I'm a dragon! I don't lose!"
A bit of flame came out of Nao Long's flaring nostrils as she stormed over to the desert products on display and stuffed them all inside her face hole.
