some understanding of it.
Ariana sat beside them, peeling an apple, cutting it into small pieces, and feeding them
to Seth.
Seth glanced at it and shook his head. “I can’t eat anymore.”
Ariana made a face and withdrew her hand. Isabella was pouring juice and had just
finished giving the last cup to Simon when she heard Seth’s voice.

Isabella turned around, puzzled. “Didn’t you just have vegetable soup?”

Everyone burst into laughter.

Seth remained silent. Isabella pursed her lips, wondering what these people were

She wisely moved to the side, trying not to get involved in the fun, but Seth was
persistent, constantly bothering her with one thing after another.
Dariel and the others seemed to be enjoying the show, taking every opportunity to
tease. Isabella felt overwhelmed and wished they would leave soon.
Unfortunately, these people had no sense of timing. They stayed in the room for a
while, then went to the upstairs entertainment room and didn’t plan to leave until after
dinner.
Isabella was exhausted, her face sore from all the forced smiles. Seth kept Ariana with
him, and they went into the study to talk about something. Isabella didn’t pay much
attention and decided to take a bath first.
