Chapter 56 Massacre

Xander walked around the entrance to the cave and saw a large crater in the ground that spread out for miles.

The crater looked like it was carved and looked more like a giant pot. Inside, he could see silver-haired gorillas which were the silver apes.

They were walking around chatting, drinking... red liquid.

'Is that blood?' Xander thought as he saw a huge bowl filled with this red liquid.

"Whatever. What do you say we crash the party?" Xander caressed the baby dragon on his shoulder as he jumped into the mountain pot.

...

"Lord Gorgon. The human settlement is almost impossible to bring down." A silver ape said, fearing that he might be struck down.

On a giant, rock seat that looked too luxurious for this world sat a Silver ape. It was bigger than others and had an authoritative aura around it.

"Make sure to send out some apes after we're done eating. The prophecy must not come true." Saying this the ape's eyes had a silver gleam.

"For now. Let's celebrate!!" Lord Gorgon shouted as he stood up and raised a wooden cup filled with blood.

"To seven years of staying alive and trampling over the great Cerebus!" Lord Gorgon raised his cup and all the silver apes shouted in happiness and joy too as they began to drink.

A loud yawning sound reached the leader of the giant apes' ear and he turned around to see a human on his throne.

"What's all this about a prophecy?" Xander said with a yawn as he rested his arm on the armhold of the giant seat.

*Whoosh*

Xander summoned the mind scythe above him and blood splashed as a hideous arm with pitch-black fur and long claws flew through the air and landed in front of the Silver ape king.

*Arrrrgh!*

Xander stood up slowly and walked behind the seat to see a big creature that was taller than him clutching its arm in pain.

When the creature looked at Xander who was smiling it suddenly became alerted of danger. Before it could gather its thoughts its other arm was severed from its body, this time from the shoulder.

Xander grabbed the neck of this creature and walked forward. He looked at the king of the silver apes who didn't remove his eyes from Xander the whole time.

"So this is how you treat guests?" Xander's voice was cold as he threw the creature looking like a werewolf to the feet of the silver ape king.

'That was the creature that kidnapped me. I remember those blue eyes.' Xander said as he observed the werewolf wriggling in pain.

"Who are you? Human. And how did you get here?"

As the ape king said that the other apes began gnarling and growling. Some brought up wooden clubs to fight.

"Oh. Um... you see, hehe. I came from the cave atop that cliff." Xander pointed at the higher ground where he came from. Enjoy new adventures from empire

The silver ape king's eyes widened for a moment and then he furrowed his brows warily as it looked around.

"Oh, I'm alone. Just thought to say hi." Xander said with a mocking smile.

"In that case. He's yours linguar!"

The silver ape king raised his hand and all the apes began cheering as they cleared the way. The air behind the silver ape king distorted and a large black saber-toothed tiger emerged from it.

The tiger had green, glowing stripes and its eyes were green too. The tiger stood even taller than the silver ape king. One of its legs was as tall as the silver ape king who was even taller than Xander.

"Get him." The silver ape king commanded as it pointed towards Xander on the seat.

The tiger growled as it ran towards Xander.

Xander didn't even move, he was as calm as and tranquil as water... no, he was excited.

A purple light flashed and the tiger suddenly stopped in front of Xander and the tiger fell with a thud.

"What did he just do?" A voice came from the crowd of Apes and the silver ape king shot a glance at the crowd and they all kept quiet before they received the Wrath of their king.

The king then grits its teeth, showing its fangs as he bellowed deeply, "KILL HIM!!"

All the apes let out a battle cry before charging towards Xander.

Xander sighed, "It's about time."

He summoned his little demon army in front of him to kill all but one of the apes. The Silver Ape King.

Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub, and Belphegor all charged forward to battle.

Lucifer was as terrifying as ever, waving his scythe around, killing silver apes like they were flies even if some of them were of a higher level than them.

The silver apes were ranging from level 50 - 80 so it was no big deal for the army of demons that were leveling steady.

Xander glanced at the giant Beelzebub who waved his claws around while releasing low growls. His golden eyes represented both fear and death for the apes who crossed his path. His poisonous tail whipped through the air and struck an ape, paralyzing it before finishing it off by biting its throat out.

"Nope..." Xander removed his gaze from there.

Belphegor sat on a table and waved his hand as usual, controlling his arrows as they rained death on the apes.

Xander looked forward and saw Satan going for the king who was looking at Xander as if studying him.

No ape could stop Satan as the red-furred cyclops waved its hand, killing ten apes at a time and moving towards the king of the apes.

Soon, the king of the apes saw Satan coming towards him and ten silver apes of very high levels stood in front of him to defend their king, all holding clubs.

The ten apes charged at Satan and they engaged in a fierce battle.

A red aura surrounded Satan and he smiled as his strength was suddenly boosted. He ran forward with a smile on his face.

An ape swung its mace towards Satan and Satan caught it before smashing it to pieces. Other maces landed on his body and either broke or got deformed and cracked.

The apes stared at Satan who had a wild smile on his face. Blood suddenly spurted out of an ape's neck whose head was missing. Satan continued his rampage against his former race that cut off his tongue and threw him into the cave to die.

"No." The silver ape slowly watched his race being massacred at the hands of the young man who sat on the throne playing with a ring.

After three minutes there was dead silence. Bodies of silver apes were everywhere and blood painted the rocky ground.

On the silver ape's king face was not that of fear, or worry, but instead will. Unyielding will.

"I shall not back down!" The king charged towards Xander at superb speed, looking like a blur.

The demons wanted to take action but they were ordered not to and they stayed still.

Xander stood up, not even activating his armor, and immediately, a red aura covered him and expanded like an explosion. The red energy swirled around and something big and sharp emerged from the flames.

"I'll kill you!!"

The silver ape king charged in, not minding the new and strange energy.

The flames dispersed to reveal a giant reaper that swung its scythe towards the silver ape king that was airborne.

The last thing the king saw was the maniac smile on Xander's face before his body was sliced into two.

[You have killed level 99 Silver Ape King. You have gained 100,000,000 exp]

The energy dispersed and Xander walked towards the body of the silver ape king and he stretched his hand over it.

[Do you wish to demonify, level 99 silver ape king?]

[Yes] | [No]

As Xander was about to press 'yes' he stopped as he felt something.

Sadness! Reluctance! Fury!

Xander looked at Satan and remembered he had his tongue cut off by this silver ape king.

Normally Xander wouldn't care but it was as if he felt what Satan was feeling and he just couldn't do it.

'Seems like our connection is strong. I can enslave other creatures anyway.' Xander thought.

He sent the demons back to his soul space and then a little blue dot appeared in his view. He looked to see the baby dragon running towards him with a black spear in its mouth.

"Good boy." Xander took the spear and put the dragon on his shoulder.

He then looked for the log-out button and found it.

[One life stone will last you one day on earth. Do you still wish to leave.]

Xander's body was feeling energetic, he was finally leaving this accursed world. He couldn't wait to see his mom again.

"Yes," Xander said and a light covered him before he shot into the sky.
