Chapter 126: The cat is Coming for the mouse 1

"Since then, anytime the mouse saw the cat, it will run and the cat will also give chase''.

''That was so pitiful. The cat is such a bad friend''. The boy lamented.

Snapping back to reality, Ali poured the hot stir fried beef rice into a bowl and saw Mai coming down from her room. He placed the plate on the table and poured a glass of milk and another glass of water and set them on the table.

Mai walked to the table and pulled out the chair sitting on it. ''Enjoy your meal, Miss'' Ali said and walked away. Mai nodded her head and picked the cutlery. She smiled and felt that she was probably eating her last meal.

That day, after her meal. Mai went to the gym and spent five hours working out. Afterwards, she entered her room, took her shower and came out. She saw a comic book on the bed. It was a romance comic titled 'drooling over my beautiful neighbour'.

Mai smiled and laid on the bed and started reading the book. She laughed and cried as she read the book till she finished it. She sighed and closed the book murmuring ''I wished I could find a prince charming neighbour like Ayah in the novel''.

Mai got down from the bed and walked to her closet. She picked her attire for tomorrow's mission. She put the complete black attire on the bed and opened her drawer and removed two guns fully loaded and put them on the floor before she stood up and changed ready to go and see her parents saying ''is good to be back Maijune''.

The iron barred door opened and Maijune walked in. There was a man and a woman inside the dimly lit room. They looked malnourished and weak. When they saw Maijune they started crying and the scene broke Maijune's heart. She sat down on the floor with them and looked at the room that was shabby and unkempt. The tray containing plates looked dirty.

''Mom, Dad. Are you two doing well?'' Maijune spoke choking in her own words.

''Mai, is that you?" the woman asked.

''Is me Maijune''. Maijune said.

':My child. Mom and dad are sorry for bringing you into this mess''. The man said.

''Dad, don't say that. I love it that you and mom are my parents"

''Your sisters, are they doing well? Lorca told me that you are going on an important mission. Tell dad, what kind of mission is it?'' the man asked worriedly as he touched Maijune's hands.

''Is nothing serious, dad. Lorca promised to free us after I finish it successfully. Mom, dad, hold on just a little longer. I will bring you out of this place. I promise''. Maijune said.

''Maijune, don't you still not know the kind of person Lorca is? Have you forgotten about the story of the cat and the mouse? No matter what you do, Lorca that human trash will never let you or us off:'. Laura Louis Marco said.

''Lorca, remember this, the end of the wicked is cruel and painful''. Laura said making Lorca to laugh.

''Yes, yes, you have been saying that for the past three years since I locked you up here. Aren't you tired? Even your husband has lost the strength to speak. What do you say? Now that your daughter is here? Are you ready to tell me the password to the estates and the company that you locked away by installing a bomb to it?'' Lorca asked.

''Never!!''. Anthony said.

''Never?'' Lorca repeated.

''Don't you dare do anything to them until I return''. Maijune said and stood up.

He clapped his hands and his men rushed in and dragged Maijune out. Maijune looked at her parents once more before walking away not allowing the men to touch her as she said to her parents.

''Rest In Peace Mom and Dad, I love you''. With that Maijune left with a bitter smile as she murmured "a dog's promise hold more weight than a human"

When Maijune left, Lorca started beating her parents.

''The mouse is coming for the cat now, mom''.

Maijune jumped down from the roof and removed her knife and started walking towards the guards. Maijune walked slowly behind the first bodyguard, she held him from behind and cut his throat aiming at his oesophagus and he fell to the ground.

Within the span of 10 minutes Maijune had successfully killed all 20 guards that stood outside. She looked at the blood on the knife menacingly saying ''that wasn't so hard. He still invests in cheap thugs who can't even sense danger''.

Maijune kicked the body aside and went to the first man she killed. Maijune pulled them together and line them up in front of the house in front of the CCTV camera and smiled and waved her hand at the camera.

''Let's play hide and seek now, uncle. You used to love doing that a lot''. Maijune said and walked away.

INSIDE.

Lorca was entertaining Mandy Myers and two other men in the hall with no idea of what was going on. A young lady dressed shabbily was sitting on his laps helping him to some fruits while two other ladies were also with the two men and Mandy Myers sat alone watching them with a sly smile.

''So, did your little niece recognised you today?'' Mandy Myers asked.

''Off course not…remember I told you about the classified information I received from the anonymous person which contained a detailed report of my little niece? Whoa!! Who would have thought such a wonderful thing even existed? She has DID and fortunately, the one that is present is my real niece who is weak and harmless. Is rather unfortunate that I couldn't bring her here'' Lorca said. ''I had wanted to give her to my godson who is still suffering from what she put him through''.

''Next time I don't care for whoever's sake. Don't do anything without consulting me. Since you decided to work with me, you should follow my way. I have a more structured plan that can guarantee us success. Since you know she has a split personality, you should also be aware that she is extremely dangerous when triggered''. Mandy Myers said and Lorca felt unhappy but masked it.
