Chapter 168: Al Alice Vs August Maijune 6

Liyah and August Maijune arrived at the new factory that had accepted to make her designs. She had submitted the designs and checked the materials previously and was now going to have a look at the final designs made out of the various materials she had selected.

Liyah and August Maijune dressed in light blue suit and pants making them look stylist and professional at the same time. They went into the factory and met the manager of the factory just at the entrance.

''Mr. Lemar'' Liyah called the manager's name.

''Miss Myers, you are here already?'' the manager whose name was Mr. Lemar said and shook hands with the ladies.

''Yes, I wanted to check the final designs before they are sent to the storage house tomorrow'' Liyah said to Mr. Lemar.

''Yes'' Mr. Lemar said and looked at August Maijune.

''I came with her the last time. She is August Maijune, my little sister'' Liyah said, introducing August Maijune. The last time she came here was with Maijune.

''Hi'' August Maijune shook the man's hands politely.

''Hi, let's go that way'' Mr. Lemar said and the three of them went towards Mr. Lemar's office.

Mr. Lemar opened his office door and saw a worker coming out at the same time. Upon seeing them, the worker seemed flustered and scared.

''Oscar, what are you doing in my office?'' Mr. Lemar asked the man.josei

''Sir, I just sent a document into your office. I knocked but you were not inside'' the man named Oscar said and looked up, locking eyes with August Maijune. He noticed the way August Maijune looked at him and hurriedly nodded his head before going away.

Even as he walked away, he could still feel the lady's eyes on him making him the more nervous. August Maijune on the other hand found his behaviour a little suspicious but she couldn't put her finger to it. She just had a weird feeling that the man was hiding something or maybe stole something.

''August Maijune, what are you looking at?'' Liyah said as she stood by the door.

''Big sis, I want to use the washroom'' August Maijune said as she turned to face Liyah Myers.

''The washroom? Mr. Lemar could you show us the washroom, please?'' Liyah asked.

''That way'' Mr. Lemar pointed at a corner.

''Big sis, go in with him. I will go and be back in no time'' August Maijune and walked away.

Liyah looked at August Maijune's retreating figure and went inside with Mr. Lemar.

After making sure Liyah had gone inside, August Maijune turned around and left through the door the suspicious man went out from.

Outside, the suspicious man looked around carefully before removing his phone to make a call. He dialled the number and spoke nervously over the phone ''Mr. Donald, I have what you asked for, but the finished products will be sent to the storage house by tomorrow. I will be among the team that will send the clothes to the storage house. I will make sure I get my hands on each sample design and material used for you'' the suspicious man said.

August Maijune was looking for the man when she heard the voice, she leaned against the wall hiding her presence from the man. Her face darkened when she heard what the suspicious man said. She clutched her fists and a flash of darkness could be seen in her eyes. Her lips curved into a half smile as she folded her arms around listening to the man.

''Yes, Mr. Donald. Liyah Myers came today with another lady to meet the manager. Don't worry, I will be careful and not get caught. Her boutique will be opened soon, so we have to hurry up with the design so that we can claim ownership of the designs. Yes, boss. Bye!!'' the man ended the call and turned to go coming in face to face with August Maijune and got frightened ''who are you?'' the man asked and took a step back.

August Maijune looked at him with a sly smile and said to him ''I have a rule. Hurt me, I won't hold you responsible but hurt the people I love, and you are done for'' August Maijune frowned and murmured to herself ''wow, why do I sound just like Maijune?''

''I don't know what you are talking about. You better stay away from me, I don't beat women'' the man said and attempted to walk away. August Maijune gave his legs a kick and he fell to the ground.

''You don't fight women. I don't fight with men either, I beat them up'' August Maijune said and punched the man hard on his face and he collapsed. August Maijune looked at him and frowned.

''He is not even strong. Fainting just after a punch, tsk!!'' August Maijune removed her phone and dialled a number and it soon connected.

''August Maijune?'' Julieta spoke on the other side.

''I know you are still not fit but I need help right now. Can you come and pick up a cargo for me?'' August Maijune said and Julieta chuckled.

''I just got discharged a few hours ago and you want me to do something for you? August Maijune, what exactly are you up to?'' Julieta asked.

''Are you fit to come or not? He is just a weak man who can't take a punch but surprisingly his weight is no joke. I am already tired from all the push-ups Aaron Saint made me do yesterday'' August Maijune said.

''Send me the address, I will see if I can leave without my father finding out and meet you there'' Julieta said as she stood up to change into pants and a blouse. She was currently in her room. A message popped up and she took the phone and saw the address sent by August Maijune.

August Maijune looked around her surroundings very carefully before dragging the man by his hands towards an obscure area in the factory. Her phone buzzed and she looked at the incoming call from Liyah before answering it.

''August Maijune, which part of the washroom are you? What are you up to?'' Liyah said worriedly over the phone.

''Big sis, are you not going to inspect the designs first? Go ahead and do that. I am handling something important at the moment. You can go home without me, bye bye'' August Maijune said and hung up immediately not wanting Liyah to ask her any further questions. She didn't want to alert Liyah without finding out the truth of the culprit in her hands.

Meanwhile back at the office of Mr. Lemar, Liyah looked at the phone and frowned. Mr. Lemar opened the door for her saying ''Miss Myers, we can go and check the clothes if you are ready. Where is your little sister?'' Mr. Lemar asked after not seeing August Maijune again.

''She had to go and take care of something, let's go without her'' Liyah said to Mr. Lemar and walked out of the office. Mr. Lemar led Liyah to the factory production hall where all the clothes were being sew by the professionals using their machines.

Liyah saw the clothes that were made out of her designs and felt satisfied. She would never have guessed that someone had the intention of sabotaging her one-year worth of planning and hardworking, and that person was no other than her mother's enemy Donald Jones, the same one who wanted to take sole ownership rights of her designs.

August Maijune continued to sit at the same corner where no one could see her waiting on Julieta to arrive. Soon, the latter arrived and gave August Maijune a call and she answered almost immediately.

''August Maijune, I am outside, where the hell are you?'' Julieta asked and August Maijune stood up and walked to the wall. She raised her hand and waved at Julieta saying.

''Look at your left, straight ahead, where the wall is. Yes, I am over here'' August Maijune said.

''I've seen you'' Julieta said and got down from the car she took from her father's garage. She walked to where August Maijune was and saw the tied up man on the ground.

''August Maijune, what is that?'' Julieta asked. ''I hope that man is not dead?'' Julieta added.

''I didn't kill him but I will if he doesn't speak the truth. Help me send him to the car first. I will figure out where to send him while on the way'' August Maijune said.

''Sure'' Julieta said and together, they pulled the unconscious man towards the car. August Maijune opened the back door and they threw the man inside.

''Sorry, I know you are still not feeling well, yet I asked you to come out and meet me'' August Maijune said as they got into the front seats.

''As long as you know what you are doing. Tell me, why do you have this man?'' Julieta said.
