Chapter 170: AI Alice Vs August Maijune 8

''Okay, make sure you bring your granddaughter home and spend lots of time with her then. You don't know when death will come knocking at your door, after all'' August Maijune said the last part with a sly smirk that didn't escape the man's eyes. Indeed, she was just like himself. Sly, dubious, intelligent and above all stubborn.

The ride back to the villa was a quite one since Su Chenli decided not to speak to August Maijune anymore. He just watched her silently on the mirror as he drove her towards the villa.

August Maijune relaxed on the seat and acted as if she wasn't paying attention to the man but deeply she thought about the man and what his purpose was. It was clear he wasn't a taxi driver and for the fact that he met with Maijune before and today he came to pick her posing as a taxi driver, she was highly suspicious of him and what his mission was. August Maijune came to the conclusion that, he was either someone who knew about her very well or maybe someone she was supposed to know but didn't. She also didn't think that any of her sisters knew or have met with him before apart from Maijune and now she herself. Having the combined intelligence of all her personalities, she was very alert and sensitive to the behaviour of the people around her.

Su Chenli pulled over in front of the giant gates of Eden Estates and August Maijune got down. She removed a few dollars from her pocket to give to him and he said to her ''keep it and buy something delicious to eat. I will see you around August Maijune''

August Maijune watched the man drive away and a frown appeared on her face. She stood at the same spot for a while before turning to go inside the estates.

Just as the security guard opened the door, she heard the sound of a car horn behind her and turned. She saw Aaron Saint who had rolled down the window of his car.

''Aaron Saint, hubby'' August Maijune said and ran towards the car. She opened the front door and got inside the car.

"'Did you go somewhere?'' Aaron Saint asked as he drove inside the estates.

''I went out with big sis and met up with Julieta. How was your day? Did you miss me?'' August Maijune said.

''Off course, I missed you'' Aaron Saint said.

Aaron Saint pulled over and they got done in front of their villa and he lifted her up suddenly and carried her in his arms saying ''I missed you and I am hungry for you''josei

''I smell, let me take a bath first'' August Maijune protested in his arms.

''Let's take a bath together then'' Aaron Saint said as he carried her into their bedroom. A phone buzzed in August Maijune's bag ''you have a call'' Aaron Saint said to her.

''Ignore it'' August Maijune replied and kissed him.

The secretary of Donald Jones kept trying the number of the man as she stood in the hall wearing a light pink lingerie leaving nothing for imagination because she was naked underneath the lingerie gown.

''Why is he not picking up? The secretary said feeling anxious. She dialled the number again and it went straight to voicemail. She became frustrated and turned to go and saw Donald Jones coming out of his wine cello.

''What's wrong?'' Donald Jones asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

''Is the man I asked to do the work. Didn't you say that he called you this afternoon to say everything was ready? I was trying to call him and know what time they are leaving tomorrow so that I can create a perfect alibi for you in case Liyah Myers suspects you'' the secretary said nervously.

''Is that all? Selena, don't worry about anything. We already have the designs and the factory will start the mass production tomorrow. What can possibly go wrong. You are just being anxious for nothing. Come, let me help you forget about those things'' Donald Jones said and turned Selena to face him. He smiled and kissed her before lifting her into the bedroom.

August Maijune woke up to the alarm ringing. She turned it off and slipped out of the bed into the walk in closet. She came out dressed in her gym clothes and left the room.

August Maijune went into the gym to start her training. She had decided to be proactive with her fitness after a lot of thought. Her sisters were not coming back anytime soon and she only had herself to look up to, if she were to be in danger. Instead of acting like a spoilt brat she decided to wake up every early dawn and train her body to be fit.

She started with the basic trainings that Maijune had wrote in her diary for her and she didn't find it stressful or tiring while doing it. Maybe because Maijune was used to training the body, she quickly picked up her pace and soon she was now training with the boxing punch bag in the gym. Her hairband broke apart making her long hair to fall on her but she didn't have the time to tie it back. She concentrated on her work out.

August Maijune wiped away the sweat from her face and continued to hit her fist against the punching bag. Each time, hitting with much strength than the first. That was the scene Aaron Saint saw when he went looking for her in the gym. He didn't see her when he woke up and thought she was studying but she wasn't in the library so he decided to check the gym and here she was working out.

Aaron Saint squirted his eyes, he was a little confused and thought she was Maijune because only Maijune could hit the punching bag with that much strength. He walked closer to her and spoke ''Maijune?''

August Maijune turned and looked at him as she gave the bag a last punch before stopping. She walked closer to Aaron Saint and said to him ''I can be Maijune if you want me to. We are the same person anyway''

''No, I didn't think you could do that'' Aaron Saint said and pointed at the punching bag and her dressing ''you just look different that's all. I'm sorry"

''I'm not angry. I am August Maijune and Maijune, Mai and June all live inside me. It is no surprise to be confused because our characters are infused into each other, so sometimes I might act like any of them. That is what Dr. Sam told me the last time. He said after treatment, our personalities will blend into one individual and I will exhibit a bit of all of them'' August Maijune said.

''Yes, he did say that. How were you able to do that? You didn't look weak like the other day'' Aaron Saint asked.

''The other day I was being a spoilt brat but I've decided that I want to be able to protect myself and my sisters. They have being protecting me for so long, I want to be able to do something for them. I guess my determination was what fuelled the passion Maijune had for training into me. I didn't feel tired at all. Even I thought I was possessed by Maijune's spirit'' August Maijune said.

''Liyah called you. She said you have a lot of explanation to do and that you should give her a call'' Aaron Saint said and handed the phone over to August Maijune.

''Oh, shit. I almost forgot about that man'' August Maijune said as she took the phone from Aaron Saint.

''Which man?'' Aaron Saint asked sharply.

''There is somewhere I have to go. I will explain to you later'' August Maijune said and kissed Aaron Saint before she ran out of the gym.

''Which man is she going to see?'' Aaron Saint murmured the question to himself and frowned.

August Maijune took a quick shower and changed into a black jumpsuit and paired it with ash coloured sneakers. She went out to the hall holding her small black purse and saw Aaron Saint waiting for her.

''Where are you going dressed so beautifully?'' Aaron Saint asked.

''Are you jealous?'' August Maijune asked as she walked to his side.

''Can't I be jealous? My wife is dressed so beautiful and going out without telling me where she is going'' Aaron Saint said.

''I am going out to do something really bad, but I will make sure I protect myself well. Just be ready to cover up for me in case anything happens'' August Maijune said and wrapped her arms around Aaron Saint's waist.

''What are you going to do? August Maijune, are you sure you aren't Maijune in disguise?'' Aaron Saint asked.

''Don't worry, I am August Maijune and I won't cross the line. Someone is trying to sabotage big sis's big day and I want to take care of it'' August Maijune said and kissed him.

''Then, be careful and call me if is something you can't handle. I will be going to visit grandpa today''

''Right, we promised to go and see him today. I'm sorry. Let's go another day or maybe I will come over when I am done dealing with that scum'' August Maijune said.

''En, be careful'' Aaron Saint said and kissed her before he let her go.
