Chapter 189: Happy Together 2

A few days to the birthday of Julieta.

Liyah took her baby boy, Channing Aiden Martins. [Channing after Leo's father and Aiden after Liyah's father], over to Saint villa since August couldn't go over to her place because of the two babies. It was more convenient for Liyah to go over since Channing was already a few months older than Jayden and Jade.

Together they sat with Alice and started planning the surprise party for Julieta which was also going to be her proposal party. Julieta liked things that were bright and meaningful. All her clothes used to be black but after getting used to the world again, her taste changed and she started wearing more colourful dresses according to the ones Kash told her to on her first day in the villa. Bright colours also suited her more because of her stature. She was slender and taller than even Liyah and August Maijune.

After planning everything, they decided to do it at Dr. Sam's garden behind the villa since it was a beautiful place that could very well be used for a lot of purposes.

The day finally came, Alice arrived at Dr. Sam's house very early and brought Julieta out of the house to go and do her manicure for her. They didn't want her to see how things were going to unfold. So, soon as Alice took Julieta out of the house, the planner Liyah contacted arrived with her team and they started to set up the whole place.

Aaron, and Leo also stayed by Kash's side at his villa. He was nervous even as he got ready for his next big step. His parents had also arrived and were staying at Saint hotel. Since they handed over the management of the family hospital over to Kash, they have been travelling one city to another, enjoying their days together as husband and wife. Kash's parents were simple people who allowed their kids to do whatever they wanted. They had only two children, Kash and Kashmir. The latter was a professor at the university and didn't meddle much with his brother's life. Everyone was simply busy with their own lives.

Back at Dr. Sam's villa.

Everyone was ready and the venue all set up. Julieta knew they were planning her birthday party but she didn't know it was also going to be her proposal party. When she and Alice entered the house, they met Liyah and August in the hall. August was holding Jade who had refused to sleep. They were all dressed exceptionally well.

''You are finally here, come with us'' Liyah said and pulled Julieta into the room.

''Is it not just a birthday party? Why is everyone acting so sneaky?'' Julieta asked.

''Go in and change into the dress, everyone is waiting for you downstairs. When you are ready, Alice will bring you down'' Liyah said to Julieta and handed the white laced gown to her.

''Okay''

''August, let's go''

''Alice, is there something going on apart from the birthday party?'' Julieta asked after August and Liyah left the room.

''Not really, hurry. Everyone is waiting for you''

Julieta nodded her head and went inside to change. She soon came out and looked at herself in the mirror.

''You look so beautiful, Julieta'' Alice said.

''I know, right. This is so beautiful''

''Sit, I will touch up your makeup lightly for you'' Alice said to her.

''Is there something you can't do, Alice?''

'Thanks to my new system, I feel more comfortable and alive. I have you and everyone to thank. This is just my way of showing my appreciation''josei

''How is work at the base?''

''Is fine'' Alice touched up on her makeup as they chatted. ''They treat me well. A lot of the people we meet during out training don't even know I am just an AI. I love working there. is comfortable and likable''

''That's a relief''

''You are also doing well. You were able to get back life after going through so much. I'm done, let's go out''

''Okay''

At the gardens, the lights were off, so Alice had to hold Julieta's hand, walking her outside. Once they got outside, the lights turned on and Julieta covered her mouth in shock as she saw the big banter hanging with Kash's handwriting which stated ''will you be my wife and make my life complete?'

''What is all this?'' Julieta asked surprised and looked at Kash who was now walking towards her. Alice stepped aside and stood next to August.

''Jules, will you marry me?'' he knelt down on one knee with the ring box in his hand.

''Kash… I… yes, I will marry you'' Julieta said and nodded her head happily. Kash put the ring on her finger and lifted her up screaming.

''She said yes''

The small gathering of people clapped their hands and the birthday party officially started. Kash and Julieta went and greeted Kash's parents and elder brother.

''This is so beautiful'' August Maijune murmured.

''I wanted to do this for you but you refused'' Aaron said to her.

''I love seeing it happen but I don't want to do it myself. I have you and our kids. As for the wedding we are yet to do, let's do it after the treatment.

''Sure, anything you say goes'' Aaron said and kissed her. Alice looked at them and frowned before looking away. She found it cheesy.

Kash family hospital.

Psychiatric department.

Aaron Saint waited outside the doctor's office for a while before the door opened and turned, looking at the man who had just emerged from the consulting room with the doctor. Aaron Saint stared at Josh Saint for a while before coming back to his senses.

''You are here?'' Josh Saint asked him.

''How do you feel?'' Aaron Saint asked back.

''The doctor said everything is fine with me but I keep having nightmares and panic attacks. I don't think I am far from been alright. I told you not to bother with me. Ehy are you going through all this trouble for someone like me?'' Josh Saint asked bitterly. Since the day he was rescued from Mimi Garcia, he had not been himself. After attempting suicide not once but many times while in confinement, Aaron Saint had sent him away to a private place where he had doctors and nurses attending to him.

Since the day he left, he had refused to see anyone from the family, but today, after coming to the city for his monthly check-up, he had asked for Aaron Saint, hence their meeting today.

Josh Saint sat down on the visitors' bench and Aaron Saint joined him.

''How is August Maijune and the kids?''

''They are doing well. August wanted to come with me but she couldn't because of the kids''

''A boy and girl, right? That's such a great news. I am happy for you Aaron. You and August Maijune deserve to be happy''

''Won't you go and see grandpa?''

''I still don't have the guts to see him. I have done a lot of bad things. I can't even forgive myself for what I did to you, August Maijune and most especially to Liyah Myers. I am such a horrible person and deserve what I am going through''

''Josh, we are a family. No matter what happens, we can't let each other go. I know is hard right now, but, later in the future. When you are comfortable enough, you can give me a call. we will have a meal together. You are the uncle of my kids, they are so beautiful, you will love them''

''What are their names?''

''Jade and Jayden''

''You picked your mother's name, Jade for the girl?''

''Yes. Should I show you their pictures? They are so lovely'' Aaron said and took his phone out and started showing the pictures of the kids to Josh Saint.

Aaron Saint arrived home and saw August Maijune drinking warm milk. He walked up to her and gave her a hug.

''I missed you''

''I missed you too, Aaron Saint. How long has it been?'' June said and Aaron stepped back. She turned and gave him a flirtatious smirked.

''June?''

''Yes, love. Missed me?'' Aaron chuckled and tussled his hair.

''I almost forgot about you'' he said.

''What? I'm so saddened by that. This is why, I warned August not to have children soon? Look how disorganised my body shape is'' June said.

''Where are the kids?''

''They are sleeping. Don't worry, I am their mother. Do you think I can't take care of them like August or Maijune?''

''I was just asking''

''I came to say goodbye. August is starting her treatment tomorrow, right?''

''Yes''

''She finally agreed to do it. She was so against it'' June said.

''She agreed to do it for the wellbeing of the kids''

''She did well. We are all the same person anyways. There isn't much to the treatment. Nothing to be worried about. A more normal life is better than an unpredictable one''

''Let me hug you'' Aaron said and pulled her into his arms.

''Tsk, is this a goodbye hug? If it's so, then, let's take it further''

''You are really the June I know''
