“Noah, what are you implying? Everyone’s happy, yet you’re out there being a cold blanket,” Aurora questioned.
“I’m not trying to rain on Vicky’s parade. I just think you guys are getting ahead of yourselves. getting engaged? Think about how awkward it’ll be for Harvey. We should leave some room for that possibility.”
Aurora retorted, “You pessimist! What nonsense are you spewing? Why can’t Vicky get engaged?”
No. Did you forget something, Miss Yeager? Tyler is in
Stoneford City. According to your theory, Vicky got engaged to Harvey to escape Tyler’s pursuit. Do you think Tyler can just watch Vicky get engaged to someone else?”
“Why not? That scoundrel would rather accept being cheated on than cancel the engagement. Maybe he would be excited about Vicky’s engagement and even find it thrilling.”
