Chapter 241 - Celestial ( Part 2 )
Chapter 241 - Celestial ( Part 2 )
The existence they were looking at has a figure similar to a human. It was floating steadily in the sky about two hundred meters from the ground.
With their improved senses, they easily saw that the figure they were looking at wasn't a normal human being since the figure was like a glowing human.
Its face was still distinguishable like an androgynous human but its entire body doesn't seem to be made of flesh and bones and only blue light of energy. There was even some visible aura or energy leaking on its body while it was steadily floating.
It doesn't have clothes so they can see that it doesn't have any even gender at all...
"Hey... This..." Hannah stepped back unconsciously after seeing the mysterious figure.
"I didn't think that they're really not humans..." Elaine muttered softly as she realized what kind of existence was in front of them.
"Guh... Can we even talk to this one?"
Clint felt that it was bad news fighting this opponent. The scary thing was the unknown. He knows in his instinct that this existence possesses immense power but for some reason, he was unable to gauge its strength using his abilities.
'Am I really this weak?'
Clint felt dismayed having realized the gap between their strength. He thought that it was too strong for him to calculate its strength.
He didn't know that this existence cannot be gauged by normal standards since they have a different form of application in mana.
The figure slowly descended not too far from them.
The five magicians gulped as they were looking at a different species, it was what they realized after seeing the difference of this being compared to them. Aside from having a human figure, it could not be considered a human at all.
"Who are you?"
Yumi asked cautiously after the figure landed softly on the ground. Their mission was to rescue her cousin so they can't be stopped here...
They waited for it to answer but no words came from this lifeform. It feels like the existence was examining them in its gaze.
Wallace was itching to probe this creature as he slowly gets closer to the figure. Everyone praised Wallace's decisiveness in this situation.
There are cases that they have to act first to gain an advantage.
Although he still maintained a distance, Wallace also made sure that if ever this existence attacks them, he would be their first target. He decided to do this as he has several methods to guarantee his life.
The others may also have their life-saving skills but he thought that it would be better if he was targeted first since he was more knowledgeable about this existence.
"Wallace, be careful..."
Elaine worriedly said. Now that the being got closer to them, she realized that it was the source of a disturbance at the surrounding mana that makes it unusable.
Right now, they can't use their mana at all and even their top-grade mana artifacts may not even work in this situation.
After a couple more seconds, the existence started to converse with them. Surprisingly, it didn't use its mouth to converse but it talked to them telepathically.
"I'm looking for someone. I noticed that there was a disturbance and a fluctuation of astral energy brought me here."
Its voice was echoing within their minds. Unfortunately, Hannah couldn't take it and it felt like her head was about to explode. The only thing she could do was to concentrate her internal mana to protect her from the voice.
She no longer bothered listening from what it has to say.
Wallace realized that this existence probably sensed him using his astral core a while ago. Another guess he could have was that it sensed the machine on his spatial bag that also possesses this astral energy used by Celestial Beings...
There was no doubt, what was in front of them was the mysterious Celestial Being of the northern continent. A result of the prince's experimentation to create a powerful existence to fight against the Empire.

Slaine decided to give Avery and Percival some of his food stored within his spatial bag.
The Grand Arcanist came to this continent completely prepared unlike these two, as they just got suddenly transported here in the middle of their fight.
"I'll explore this place for a few days... How about you two?"
"Well, we'll reserve our energy in the meantime. A rescue team was about to get us out of here so we'll wait since its better than moving around in this maze."
"Oh, they have skills to trace you?"
"Yes... One of my friends learned a blood tracking ability. I conveniently left some drops of blood that they can use when I realized that something was wrong with that Heart's Grimoire. But... they seem to be taking their time getting here..."
"Haha! It won't be easy getting here... Most of my people died just by getting here... Your rescuer must be an elite of the elites to arrive here unharmed."
"That dangerous?"
"The chimeras you fought here, weren't considered very strong since they are weakened here by the lack of their resources. There will be chimeras and mana beasts on the surface that has a full supply of resources since their birth so some of them mutated to become very tough monsters to deal with..."
"Urgh... I didn't consider that..."
Percival believes that Elaine brought a group of Lucent Force to rescue him. He was even hoping that they announced their plan to the public so his friends in the Congress, Sky Raven Manor, and Luxford Clan would hear about it so they could volunteer in helping them.
"How many days had passed when you notice that the blood tracking ability was tracing you?"
"About three days."
"Ho~ If they are still surviving until today, then they must have impressive skills. You don't have to worry a lot. I don't think they will encounter any Celestial in their way here."
Slaine remembers the many obstacles they faced just by getting here. Aside from that, they also eliminated quite a number of chimeras and mana beasts along the way so they should be fine.
The only problem they had before was the chimera that lurks in the shadows which created a lot of troubles in their team as it followed them for several days.
The only time they got rid of it was when he decided to meet a Celestial and the latter conveniently eliminated it for them because it didn't like its aura.
"Great! That's good to hear but how did you know of this, Sir Slaine?"
Percival has been worrying the existence of Celestial Beings roaming around in this continent so he sighed in relief that the Grand Arcanist guaranteed that the rescue team will not encounter a Celestial.
"Celestial Beings don't really like to talk with people like us. They wouldn't even engage in a conversation unless you possess something they were looking for..."
The two magicians chatted for a while as Avery started having a meal. It has been a while ever since she had a healthy and appetizing meal so she didn't wait for the two men as she ate her fill.
She was honestly disgusted by the foods they were eating here before but because she has to survive until they got rescued, she had to do everything she can.
Even if she was captured by this person later, she has ways to get out of prison as their organization also possesses power over government officials.
As a matter of fact, it may be the easiest way to return and get connected with the organization.
