Chapter 386: Kafiea Mountains
Glancing back at the teary man shedding tears over his late beloved, Lilith suddenly shoved my shoulder, "Hey, can we please kill this fucker? It's been an entire month, and all he is doing is crying."
"That is what happens when you lose a loved one," I replied, glancing towards a large mountain in the distance that was just a few days' journeys.
"Am I supposed to relate? Sene, I don't actually care. His crying is so annoying. It sounds like a bear groaning over lost food. It's so pathetic."
"Well, if we kill them now, we will lose our guide and those Black Capes that are supposed to appear." I patiently explained as Lilith groaned. "Just relax. We are close."
Puffing her cheeks, Lilith's steps suddenly came to a halt; taking a sniff of the air, I suddenly felt a powerful Dao ripple from her body. "There is a sect ahead," She said with a cautious expression. "Be careful if it's a sword sect. We need to watch out. Their sword Artes are quite powerful."
"Seem you forget who we are?" I voiced with a smile.
Turning my attention towards Dreck and Deb weeping in each other arms, I could not help but understand Lilith's annoyance, "Hey guy's, it's just up ahead. But we sense a few souls. I know you're in mourning; however, now is not the time. Pull yourselves together." I stated with a caring expression, although I could not help wondering why I was even doing this. I could simply kill them and scan their entire soul, but such a task took a long time. And the older one was, the more annoying it became.
Wiping her eyes, I studied the heart of the little trickest who appeared innocent, masking the burning resentment within her heart. I started to reminisce over that day. That night when Deb And Dreck awoke, they desperately looked around for Vicky. However, me being me, decided to have some fun to see if I would be entertained.
I had placed them into one of my illusions showing the deplorable state of Vicky as she begged for death. Her legs were missing, and her eyes were scratched out as she begged and begged. Blood and maggots could be seen overflowing from her sockets as she began to vomit, various urgent.
Unable to stand it anymore, Dreck stuck a blade through her head. Tragic, yes, but I did find out this type of torture made me feel something, unlike basic torment. Shit got Lilith hot that day as well. What a night!
"We... we are ready," Said Deb pulling on Dreck's arm that shivered at her touch.
Sending a glance at Lilith, I nodded, "Yeah, I'm bord of this. Let's just kill them; all there doing is crying. It was fun the first two days, but now it's annoying." I whispered to her as she giggled.
"Are they going to be our first meal after so long?" Lilith asked as I smiled in reply.
"Deb maybe, women tend to be a lot more tender," I explained as she touched her lips.
"Ever wanted to eat me?"
"Still do," I replied as a set of three disciples appeared within our view. All three of them were holding swords on their backs with a strange sword shape crown crest upon their chest.
Taking notice of us, a rather tall man with a warm smile approached, "Greetings." he said, cuffing his hands towards us.
"Strange, I thought you all would be dicks" I said, puzzled at this welcoming greeting.
Twitching his brow, Fe Lue turned towards his brother and then back to us, "We are members of the Holy Blades." He explained in a tone that he expected us to understand.
"Cool, can we go in then?" I asked, wondering if this was his way of intimidation.
"We are the Holy Swords," he repeated, causing Lilith and me to stare at each other.
"Good for you, buddy." I said as one would to a slow nephew or child, " Now, are you going to let us in?" I inquired, considering if I was missing something.
"Are you new to the Swords coast?" he asked with a measured stare.
"You two appear to be nobles... or at least the closest to ones. But to enter these mountains, one must make an oath to the heavens not to spread innocent blood, be it man or beast, unless you are attacked."
"We swear the heavens to... all that you said," I carelessly declared, not giving two shits. Lying to the heavens had zero effect on me. As for Lilith, however, I could not say.
"So do I," Lilith explained with a cheeky grin as her words suddenly echoed into my mind, "I am from the abyss. The heavens have no right to judge us." She explained with a cheeky grin.
Shocked at our words Lilith and I stepped past this man and towards Kafiea Mountains, which laid a Nexus Gate. Looking back at Dreck and Deb following, we didn't say a word as we continued on.
"any idea where to start?" Lilith asked.
"I wonder if I could earth bend the shit out this mountain?" I voiced, glaring up at the mountains that seemed to stretch way past the clouds.
"What?"
"I need to figure out a way to watch anime and Cartoons," I explained, patting Lilith's head with a solemn grimace, "Your education needs to begin."
"Hey!"
Shaking my head, I clenched her shoulders, "Even if I am Truck-Kun's brother, she too is an Otaku! I cannot have such an ignorant wife. You need to understand the truth!"
"Arsene... did you take drugs and not share?"
Scuffing at the thought, I sighed, clasping my arms together; I sent my wishes to my long-lost family.
"Ok... I'm going ahead," Said Lilith as she hastily stepped past me with a dark expression.
Shugging, I hastily followed behind as we slowly began to encounter hundreds of thousands of disciples along the way. Many of them did not appear to be from the Holy Swords but rather other sects all together.
I even saw some with black capes, although they were not much in numbers.
"Did we just join a festival?" I suddenly asked a young woman by my side. She appeared not particularly attractive, although she did seem to carry herself with a hint of elegance.
Holding me with a bit of scorn, she snorted, stepping away with her head arched high as though she was a queen and I an ant.
"Get used to it," Lilith amusingly uttered, "Many bitches act like that. Even their kids are like this, aside from a few rare ones they call eccentric, most of these people are just bastards."
"How long did you stay on Alos again?" I could not help ask discerning that Lilith was filled with such information.
"Not long, but I had access to most of their library, and the times I did visit was a nightmare."
