Chapter 2465 Return
I looked around and saw there was no one else except for me besides the bronze door; seeing that, I immediately activated the beacon without wasting a second.
The Golden Fire Werewolf may have the formation, and it might be using it now to break through the door, and before it does, I want to get the hell away from this ruin. I don't think I would be able to survive against a mad werewolf that is hellbent on killing me.
As my beacon sent the signal, I activated the recovery formation inside my core and felt a cool stream filling my body.
I did not hold back anything when I had burned my essence, but I had burned it for less than fifteen seconds. If it had been minute, it would have taken me quite long to recover. Now, I don't think I would need more than one and a half days to reach my peak.
Buzz!
A few seconds after I had activated the beacon, it shone up, and I saw energies covering me before space tore up, and I was back into the space tunnel again.
Step
Nearly a minute had passed when I had finally stepped into the familiar room, and all the tension in my body had vanished.
Finally, I am safe, and now, I just want to go marina and kiss those wonderful lips of hers. I have been missing them extremely in the ruin.
I feel the thrust for them that I had not felt for anything else, and I am already typing a message for her to ask her where she is.
"Grandmaster Zaar, Lord Whitmore had ordered that you meet him first as soon you appear," said the guard standing by the teleportation formation.
I was about to finish the send when I stopped and nodded my head unwillingly before walking out of the hall. I really don't want to meet Lord Whitmore right now and could go to the marina directly without any consequence, but I do not want to do that.
I will quickly finish meeting with Lord Whitmore before going to her.
Knock Knock
Soon, I appeared at the office of Lord Whitmore and knocked. "Come in, Micheal," said Lord Whitmore from inside.
"Lord Whitmore," I said as I walked inside the office, "Take a seat, Grandmaster Micheal," He offered; I nodded and took a seat in front of him.
"Few days after you have left, we have sent unusually high traffic in ruin, which is very surprising as the Grimms have already sent a pretty big force in the ruin already," He said and looked at me for the answers.
I did not answer; instead placed the crystal boxes in front of him. They are transparent, and one can see them in two boxes; there is palm-size wood of black and coppery color, while the third box has 20 ml liquid in the spherical bottle.
Each box has three seals; one could unlock the first seal of each box with a tiny bit of energy and sense the aura of content inside without coming into contact with them.
The seals are not for his safety but mine; I still remember the power of protection I had needed to pull out of the tree.
He looked at my question, but after seeing me smiling faintly, he opened the seal, and the powerful aura of death instantly clouded the room. The aura is so powerful that it would kill anyone below the Master and has activated defenses of the Lord Whitmores office.
"My god!"
He gasped in shock that it took him a while before he was able to control himself and open the second seal and release the metal aura, but what shocked him the most was the third box. When the seal opened, the formation I created inside the box showed the special thing inside, which instantly made him recognize what it was.
"So, the Grimms went for the sources of death and mental energy in the bronze graveyard, no wonder they had sent the huge force," He said to which I shook my head.
"These three were the most precious resources, but these are not the only thing that place has and the things they were after," I said and began to give him a short, censored version of the things which again had shocked him.
When I finished, he did not speak for a whole minute.
"Our forces are too low compared to them; we could not investigate and stop everything they do," he said with a sigh, and all I could nod gravely.
This is the biggest problem we humans have been suffering from since the invasion of the Grimms.
"I hope the project will help us in rectifying that," he said with eyes full of hope. "It will, even if not completely, but it will definitely help, at least partially," I said, and this time, my voice was filled with confidence.
I have great confidence in my project; as long as it succeeds, we will be able to deal with Grimms to a much better degree. It would not be a problem even if they attack us with a large number of Grandmasters, as we will be ready for them.
"I think we should send a treasure hunting party to the ruin," I said after a few seconds.
"You are asking to send a part of powerful grandmasters along with a rune Grandmasters; losing a single one of them would be a great loss," he said a moment later. "It is a great risk, but we can't let the Grimms have the fortune that is lying there; we need to get it, at least some part of it," I said.
There are hundreds of rooms there, filled with powerful resources of all kinds. It will be a huge loss if we let Grimm Monsters have it. If I had been not busy with the project, I would have taken a step back through that door and only returned when I had taken the resources from each and every room.
"I will put a proposal to the council," He said after some time; "The council would not regret it," I replied.
