Chapter 2466 Surprised
I left Lord Whitmores office after half an hour and opened my holowatch again, and was about to send her the message when I stopped.
Buzz!
Instead, I opened a couple more windows and checked the logs, seeing that a smile couldn't help but appear on my face. A few seconds later, I had typed the coordinates of Marina's home, and the formation lit up as I disappeared.
Knock Knock
The next second, I appeared in front of Marina's door and knocked on it; through the logs, I found out she had gone back home to sleep. If she had been elsewhere, I would have surprised her there. Though I am happy she is at home, there is no one here to disturb us.
Click!
I just thought that when the door opened and I was about to take a step forward when I suddenly stopped, and my expressions froze.
"Micheal, you have returned," Elina said ecstatically as she came to hug me; I was frozen for a moment before I hugged her back. "You must have read my messages to come to meet me right after you have returned from the mission," She said as she let go of the hug.
"Of course, how can I not," I replied without missing a beat and made my avatar read all the messages from her. There were five of them for three days, and all of them said they had something important to discuss with me.
"So, what is the important thing you wanted to discuss with me," I asked as I entered inside with her. I had asked her, but I already knew what she wanted to discuss; it was very clear to me.
Still, I was quite disappointed seeing it was not her mother who had opened the door; I did not even see her living room; it seemed like she was still sleeping.
"I think I am ready." She said and revealed her aura, and sensing it, I couldn't help but become surprised. She had improved really fast, but again, I should not be surprised, given her bloodline and the fact she had created the core.
"You seemed ready but let me take a clear look at all the facts," I said, and seed appeared in my hand, which had directly seeped inside her.
I did not have to use the stealth of the seed as Elina herself pulled down all her defenses. A few seconds later, her complete metaphysical shape appeared before me; all her secrets were revealed; even those who trust each other immensely would not let others look so deep into their secrets.
Her meta-physical scan is lighted with power, and her bloodline core is blazing like a sun, containing immense power.
I looked at the scan carefully, studying each and every aspect of it, and couldn't help but be surprised again by what Elina had achieved. Even those with the core wouldn't have had such patience as her and would have broken into Grandmasters class long ago, but she preserved it, and now, she is going to reap the benefits of it.
"Let's sit," I said as I opened my eyes, and we sat next to each other. "So, what do you think?" she asked, and there was little nervousness in her voice.
"You are more than ready to break into Grandmaster class," I said finally, and the nervous smile on her face bloomed. "Thank god, I thought you would ask me to continue," she said, and to that, I couldn't help but shake my head.
"You have already reached your limit, and if you continue in your class, it will take years before you make any significant, which is not worth it," I replied.
"Good, I have already made the preparations for the breakthrough and will make a breakthrough in a few days," She said with a smile.
"Can you let me have a look at your preparations?" I asked her, "Sure, she replied and the list of resources projected through her holowatch. She did not reveal her breakthrough formation; she did not have it as it would come from her bloodline; she just needed to prepare the resources.
She had really seemed to have made the preparations; all the resources she had gathered were pretty high. Of all the resources she had gathered, 80% of them were death and fire elemental in nature, and one even surprised me.
"Fire sea flintstone, it seemed like you have been lucky," I said as I got a look at her resources. "Yes, Ive got a pretty big piece, and I have already spared some for you," she said, and a crystal box appeared in her hand, inside which an adult fist-size blue, red jagged stone could be seen inside.
"I will not say no to this," I said, taking a box from her hand. I would have been happy if she had given me the stone the size of a fingernail, but she had given a fist-size. With it, I would be able to do many more things, and it will be extremely useful for my own breakthrough.
"Since you have given me such a precious thing; it wouldn't look good if I did not give you something back," I said, and instead of rejecting, a big bright smile appeared on her face, and she immediately snatched away the box that appeared in my hand.
"What is it?" she asked, "Take a look yourself," I replied.
Gasp!
She looked at me for a moment before opening the first seal, and a death aura burst out, which immediately drew a gasp out of my mouth.
The formation I sent out a moment later activated and contained the death aura. I don't want the teacher to get affected by it; considering the power of the aura, it would be disastrous for the teacher.
"It is the best thing I could have for my breakthrough," She said, and a second later, she did something that shocked me. She inhaled, and all the death aura went inside her mouth that not even a speck of
"Tasty," she said as she licked her lips a moment later.
