Chapter 2918 Kraf

Chapter 2918 Kraf

"Lord Zaar," said Lord Whitmore, and opened my eyes immediately, "Who is it?" I asked, "Kraf," he said, and the formation under my feel flashed, and I disappeared.

The Grimm had taken a long to appear, but it had been fine since it had appeared. I want to fight and, if possible, kill the bastard, which would be quite difficult given its abilities, but I will try.

Soon, I appeared on the other side, above the verdant prairie.

Boom!

I looked around before shooting forward; the Grimms were also coming toward me fast, and I could have waited for it, but I did not. With its power, I will not get much action, so I might as well have some time flying; I did not get much chance to fly around the pyramid.

"Kraf," I said as I stopped in front of a huge Grimm. "Zaar," it replied.

It is Kraf, a Wood Horn Goatman from one of the rare green elemental Grimm; green is not the element of the Grimms, given their chaotic nature, but still, some tribes exist that have this element.

It would be wonderful; if I could harvest its bloodline, I would benefit a lot from it, more than I would from the Grimm with the same power. It is not the first green element Grimms I had faced before; I had killed one before, and its bloodline essence had surprised me.

The purified bloodline essence of green elemental Grimms is more valuable; they provide a much bigger boost than the bloodline of their level and power will provide, and also, the growth energy is especially powerful, nearly twice as powerful as the same level bloodline.

"I am not liking the way you are looking at me, Zaar; it reminds me of the old snake," said Kraf; "Thank you?" I said, not sure whether it was praising me or cursing.

"It is not a praise, Zaar; nobody like it when the old snake looked at you that way," it said and shuddered. "I can imagine," I said, and I truly can.

I have the same look in my eyes that the old snake had when it understood how my constitution could immensely benefit it.

It glared at me hearing my answer, but soon its eyes became calm, and even a smile appeared on its face. "I have to say, I had to wait quite a while to fight you," it said.

"Do you really want to die that bad?" I asked back, and a flash of anger appeared in its eyes before they became serene as forest.

"No, I wanted to fight you because I wanted to kill you and consume you; I can feel you will be able to help me tremendously in harnessing more power from my bloodline," it said, and instantly, its serene green eyes, begin to burn with the evil greedy blaze.

It resembles the look that the old snake had given it to me, making me shudder from head to toe.

"Really?" I asked.

The Green element had its advantages; take this bastard; it could make its bloodline consume any being. The more unique and nutritious the being is, the more power its bloodline gives it.

This bastard is one of the Grimms with the greatest experience of ruins; according to our intelligence, it had explored the highest number of runes in this age, more than any humans or its fellow Grimms. The reason for that is the monster; went hunting for unique monsters to let its bloodline consume it.

This is a rare ability that appeared once in millennia, and whenever it appeared, the coven took that person and trained them because they have the highest chance of becoming the Grand Lord.

The only thing they need is the bodies of unique beings; it does not matter whether it is humans, monsters, or even Grimms. It had killed its own and explored the ruins for monsters before reaching its current power.

It is about similar to how I get the power-ups from harvesting the bloodlines of the Grimms.

"You might not believe it, but I could feel it in my bloodline, which is telling me, as long as I consume you, I will receive the greatest boost of my life," it said, and by the time the last word came out, a sort crashed look appeared in its face.

"Many Grimms want to kill me, but all failed, even the old snake failed; what makes you think you will be able to kill me?" I asked back and hearing that, a big smile appeared on its face.

"They failed because they don't have what I have," it said, and it released its aura; it is not 20% or 30%, but full power. I could feel it had released all its power.

'Since when had the Grimms become this smart?' I asked myself; the old snake, too, had begun attacking me with all its power in the last two battles, and now this one too.

It seemed like Grimms seemed to realize how I fight; it is either that or this bastard was too excited to kill me and just couldn't wait.

"Show me what you have them?" I asked as I looked at it; the Goatman was seven meters tall and had woody brown fur with vibrant green eyes. Its bloodline armor looked like it was made of vines and branches, but have very powerful defensive abilities, especially water and earth elemental attacks.

"Seven Pillars of Yredae!" It shouted, and the next moment, seven huge wooden pillars with elaborate designs appeared around it, forming a circle.

These pillars are as big and nearly a meter thick, with glittering greens murals on them; they do not look harmful, but if one of them falls on me, it will turn me into a good jam of blood, flesh, and bones.

"Now, I will show you how I will kill you, Zaar," it said and sent those seven pillars at me.

Sigh!

Seeing them coming at me, I couldn't help but sigh; really, I was hoping to take out my sword in the battle, but sensing the power in the attack, it would be useless. I would be thrown like a broken kite before these pillars crushed me paste.

So, it would be better if I remained in my hidey-hole.

BANNNG BANNNG BANNNG

The first pillar crashed against my shields, making them visible and shaking them hard, and the first class was just the beginning as all seven pillars began to crash against my shields at the same, attacking them at maximum power, filled with powerful physical energy.

'Interesting,' I said a moment later when the disparity with the energy showed.

I thought this was just a physical attack powered by energy, but when I noticed not as much energy coming at me as these pillars released, and so, I investigated.

It did not take me even a second to find out what was happening; the powerful attacks of the pillars were not real attacks. It is just a camouflage to hide a real attack, and it is very good, considering I did not immediately notice it.

It also answered the question of how it was able to break the shields of the Silas Bishop so quickly when they had fought a few days ago.
