Ashlyn couldn't resist the urge to laugh. “Is everything progressing smoothly with the development of new energy?”

Her rosy lips drew close to the handsome man's face. “New energy represents technological progress, and medicine signifies advancements in healthcare standards, so... what you and I are involved in is beneficial for the entire world. Tell me, Mr. Nolan, how is it that I never realized before just how remarkable you are?”

Anyone, including Lucas, would feel delighted to be praised by their significant other.

“Have you never heard of that saying?”

A smile played at the corners of Ashlyn's lips as she gave him a light punch. “Isn't your company hosting some kind of press conference or public hearing on new energy tomorrow? You should get some rest early.”

The following morning, Lucas departed from the hotel and made his way to the venue of the new energy public hearing. There, he found not only expert doctors from Zaewora but also professors from
