Janetta suddenly asked, “Celeste, what did Terell just say to you?”
Celeste snapped back, “That guy who looks like a chain–smoker is Terell?”
Janetta chuckled, that description was right on the money. “Terell comes from a PR background, sharp and cunning. He’s built up some capi through his PR work.”
Janetta paused for a moment, then said in a low voice, “He has another identity, one you’ll know right away”
Celeste was curious, “What identity?”
Janetta said nonchalantly. “Lorinda’s husband.”
Celeste was shocked. No wonder he could find so many roles for Lorinda, making her a big shot in the industry.
Speaking of which, ever since it was exposed on Twitter that Lorinda was spreading rumors about her, Lorinda had gone quiet. Lorinda and Sydney were close, so her husband’s involvement added a dash of conspiracy to the whole thing.
Janetta quickly offered a theory. “Did you know? Phoenix Fire removed Lorinda’s name as assistant director, and the official Twitter account stopped following her.”
Celeste was surprised, “When did this happen?”
She always skipped the beginning and end when she watched TV, so she naturally wouldn’t notice that someone was missing from the credits.
Janetta said, “I’m not sure exactly when, I just found out a few days ago. I asked some friends, and it seems it had something to do with Zach. Lorinda’s husband is an investor on the crew, and they went to great lengths to get Lorinda in. But halfway through filming, Zach threatened to quit and forced the company to kick Lorinda out.”
Celeste was clueless about all this.
