Mason glared at her, and said, “Isn’t causing a scene on set enough? Now you’re here slandering people without any evidence. Is this what Mrs. Reed taught you?”
Kaylee turned pale, and said, “Everything I said is true! Now that the Campbell family doesn’t consider her family anymore, she has no status in the circle. She’s deliberately getting close to you to get back in, Mason; don’t be fooled by her!”
Watching Kaylee’s meltdown, Celeste found it amusing.

Kaylee clenched her fists, her eyes filled with anger.
Mason stopped looking at her and bent down to take Celeste from Leonard, asking softly, “Are you hurt?”
Kaylee watched as Mason lowered his head, his eyes filled with tenderness as he whispered to Celeste. It made her fingers tremble with anger.
She saw a hot tea pot on the table near the entrance and suddenly rushed up to grab it, throwing it at Celeste.
Mason immediately shielded Celeste.
However, he didn’t feel the expected pain, but a scream echoed in his ear: “Leo!”
The boiling water was blocked by Leonard.
