Kaylee’s face turned pale. She took a few steps back and ran back to her private room.
Celeste was no longer feigning drunkenness. She wanted to provoke Kaylee but underestimated her impulsiveness.
She actually threw boiling water at people.
If it wasn’t for Leonard blocking it, most of the water would’ve splashed on her face and body.
Leonard’s neck was severely burned; even though he quickly rinsed it with cold water, blisters still formed, and his back was also red and swollen, looking horrifying.

Over by the bathrooms, Celeste was standing in the middle of the crowd, her face pale and her eyebrows furrowed. Mason was leaning in close to her, his mouth moving, but it was unclear what he was saying.

Claire whispered.
Liam pursed his lips, but before he could get very far, he was stopped. “Are you from booth 303?”
Liam glanced at the man, who appeared to be a staff member of the hotel, then nodded his head.
“A woman from your booth spilled hot water on a guest from 302. The guest has called the police, and we’re here to assist them in notifying you.”
Liam’s face changed slightly, and then he quickly walked over to Celeste. He tightly grabbed her wrist, anxiously looking her over. “Where did she splash you?
