Chapter 735

Celeste gave Trisha the full rundown of tonight’s drama.

After hearing the whole thing, Trisha was steaming.

“Kaylee, that uncultured brat! She should be locked up for a while. That should teach her a lesson! She’s from a reputable family, yet she acts like a total savage! Are she and Liam even from the same gene pool?”

Realizing her words might be misconstrued as praise for Liam, Trisha quickly added, “I’m not saying Liam’s a saint or anything, but objectively speaking, he definitely carries himself with a certain class and manners.”

Then she asked, “And what was Liam’s reaction to Kaylee burning someone this time?”

“He went to confront Kaylee himself.” Celeste said with a smile, “He promised to have her at the police station before sunrise.”

Trisha was skeptical. “Would he really do that? Isn’t she his baby sister? Didn’t he always side with her whenever she took your stuff? And he didn’t even reprimand her when there was trouble at home last time, did he?”

Celeste was unsure too.

She brought up the wedding night incident to provoke Liam, but she had no clue how he would react.

“If he still protects Kaylee this time, even if every man in the world vanished, you can’t give him another chance! Leonard seems decent; why don’t you just go with him?” Trisha suggested.

“Leonard?” Celeste was taken aback.

“Yeah, that actor, Leonard. He’s a man of conviction. If he sees something he doesn’t like, he doesn’t hold back and strikes right back.

Celeste was amazed. Maybe because of Sydney, she had a bias against most celebrities, so she was surprised to find a star like Leonard who was genuine and principled.

“But wouldn’t his personality cause him a lot of trouble? Does it affect him?”

“Overall, I don’t think Leonard has been too affected. I heard his family has some clout, so maybe his folks helped him out.” “You think he might be interested in you?” Trisha asked, intrigued.

Celeste rolled her eyes. “I only met him for the first time tonight; we didn’t even exchange one word.”

Not that there was no connection at all. Leonard did help her fake her drunkenness and keep it a secret from Javier.

“We’re just colleagues. He helped me out with some issues, and just like you said, he stands up for what’s right.” Celeste said.

“Just my two cents.” Trisha yawned, “You should visit him when you have time and get an autograph for me.” “Sure.”

After washing up, Celeste tossed and turned in bed.

Sometimes she thought about the night’s events, other times about her conversation with Liam.

The idea that Liam kept his distance because she was allergic to condoms and that he had been restraining himself, was mind–boggling.

Could he really control himself?

But last time, he didn’t restrain himself.

After much thought, Celeste still felt something was off with Liam, so he must have used this as a cover–up.

But Liam’s attentiveness in certain aspects did stir her emotions a bit.

She sent Liam a text, “What are you doing?”

“I’m studying.” Liam replied promptly.

“?” Celeste replied.

Liam then sent her a message. Celeste opened it and was so pissed that her face turned black.

It was a screenshot of a website with ‘outercourse‘ methods typed in the search engine.

The search was outrageous enough but what was even more outrageous was that there were actual answers. People dared to write, and others dared to believe.

“Text explanations are a bit hard to understand. I plan to find some illustrated or video tutorials that are more straightforward. Want me to share them with you?” Liam asked,

She couldn’t imagine how this shameless guy, Liam, could type this out with a straight face.

Maybe he just wanted to see her squirm. Was Liam always this bad?

So Celeste sent him a link, “This site’s fast and has no ads.”

Curious about what she sent, Liam clicked the link and was then speechless.

She’s watched quite a few!

In disbelief, he asked, “How much have you watched?”

With an air of experience, Celeste said, “Quite a bit.”

In fact, she hadn’t watched any. These trashy sites usually used explicit content to lure people into online gambling.

But it did serve to get under Liam’s skin, so she found it somewhat useful.

Liam was indeed annoyed. “Many of these sites contain viruses; you could get your information stolen just by clicking around.”

Then he sent Celeste a software package, “Install this; it will automatically scan for viruses when you visit those chaotic sites.”

Celeste thought, is this the point? This fool!

Changing the subject, Celeste asked, “Have you been hanging out with Nicolas lately?”

“Been busy recently and I haven’t seen him much. Why?”

“Does Nicolas have a girlfriend?”

Liam asked nervously, “Why do you want to know?”

“I think Nicolas might be trying to woo my best friend.”

She grumbled, “Keep an eye on him for me. If he’s flirting with Trisha while keeping things ambiguous with other girls, tell me right away. I don’t care how he treats others, but he absolutely can’t hurt Trisha! She’s innocent and wouldn’t be able to handle his cunning tactics. If he’s not serious, he shouldn’t be bothering her!”

Afraid that Liam might collude with Nicolas, Celeste warned again, “If you dare help him deceive me, you can kiss my forgiveness goodbye!”
