Leonard furrowed his eyebrows, “Liam asked to drop the lawsuit?”
“No, it was Clyde. He said as long as we drop the lawsuit, any conditions we have could be met.”
“Did you agree?”
“How could I?” The manager glanced at him, “They nearly hurt your idol; how could I easily agree?”
Leonard’s face relaxed a bit, then he heard his manager continue, “Liam also contacted me, inviting you to be the brand spokesperson for the Smart Chip drone series. The condition is that we don’t drop the lawsuit. So I agreed.”
Leonard retorted, “You’re betraying me! Do I lack opportunities for endorsements?”
His manager replied, “Since you don’t want to drop the lawsuit, Clyde will definitely find an excuse to cause trouble. But if we agree to Liam, it’s different. We don’t drop the lawsuit, we can take revenge for
your idol, and we get an endorsement. If Clyde causes trouble in the future, Liam will surely help. Why wouldn’t I agree?”
Leonard frowned, “He divorced Letti; can he be a good person? Why should I help him?”
His manager persuaded him, “You’re helping your goddess and earning his money at the same time. This is also a way to take revenge for your goddess.”

Leonard figured he kinda had a point. Just as he was about to accept the friend request, a pesky ad call popped up on his phone.
He scrunched his eyebrows, tapped a couple of times, and once the ad call was disconnected, Leonard’s face turned sour. He had accidentally hit the “Decline” button.
